Love handles impossible to lose
Any help here? Long story short, I started at 265. I now weigh 163. I look like a twig in clothing. I'm truly thin. Except under clothes love handles are huge. No matter how much weight I lose, they won't go. What do I do? I'm already doing HIIT running, weight lifting, and low carb. Help? I've read somewhere that these will be impossible to lose without medical procedures. I've worked hard and still look terrible without a shirt. They loo worse when I'm wearing pants or anything because they create a huge muffin top. Here's a link to picture. https://db.tt/PRSWD3Mk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi AA, good to talk to you.
firstly be proud of all you have achieved, because you deserve to be, but I can understand that things may seem a bit frustrating when you're close to the goal and you're not quite getting there.
I think the diet might be part of the reason, so what times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times.

Re: Love handles impossible to lose
I like to do intermittent fasting mostly. I have a 16 hour fast period usually. I eat in a 4 hour window. And diet is pretty high fat, low carb. The most carbs I get is from a bell pepper or from a couple low carb wraps (7 grams each). But meat consist of the basic low carb foods: ground turkey, ground beef, sausage, bacon, tuna, mayo, cheddar cheese, ranch, lettuce, etc. I honestly think I need to increase fat intake. I tend to drain cooked meats even though I've been told I shouldn't.
Thanks so much for the reply!
For fun, here's a before picture. I lost it all in about 6-months. I worked very hard.

After: (you could never tell I have large love handles clothed).

Re: Love handles impossible to lose
I'd change the intermittent fasting structure and go for a system that allows you to eat 5-6 times over 14-16 hours.
I'd be aiming for around 2000 calories at least, so you're looking at around 333-400 per meal depending on how many meals you eat.
You're doing well with the foods you are currently eating, so I'd say you've got a few options on how you work it all out.
You could go 40/30/30, protein/carbs /fats, or 33/33/33/, or 35/30/35.

WOW!! You look like a completely different person! Great job.
Do you practice the same workout cardio/ routine week after week, or do you change it up? From personal experience, If results in the gym become stagnant then I switch things up and w/in a week I see changes.

However I often find and from personal experience, that if someone stagnates, diet is often the culprit, as you try all sorts of things to correct it and realise it was diet, even to the point where you try supplements that yield little effect like Creatine and HMB, again from personal experience.
I agree it could be a workout that causes the issue, but for me, I'd always favour diet alterations first to try and combat someones stagnation, as opposed to suggesting a workout change, then if that didn't work, suggest a workout change.

I have huge problems with love handles and fat around torso. Unfortunately you have to work on eating a lot better and exercising to reduce the fat. There is no workout you can do that will spot reduce fat in certain areas of your body though
I was taking CLA in order to help. Its non stimulant and help your body use fat from those stubborn areas. Combined with healthy eating and exercise I did notice the the fat around wasitline decrease. Slowly but surely.

Doing daily routine of exercise will help.

Ugh I feel your pain!! I am in the same boat!!! Good luck to you, wish me luck too! I did just want to agree with the other poster that suggested 5 small meals throughout the day. I've read that fasting is horrific for your metabolism. I am guilty of not doing this either though I don't fast. I just eat 3 well balanced meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I am going to try to get an am and pm snack in to achieve the 5 meal a day plan.
