Hi everyone, new in the forum. Nice resource !
I wanted to ask something because I am sure something weird happens to me:
- I am very active (gym, soccer, HIIT, tennis, etc).
- 230lb - 6-1" - "strong-heavy guy"
- diet is well structured and I eat very healthy. However I could improve obviously.
I have input data in infinite body fat % calculators and I keep seeing 15-17% results. I consider myself a bit overweight even though I am very active. I feel lots of muscle underneath a small layer of fat almost in all body. (Therefore I would say body type looks more like 20-24% BF...), are these calculators reliable?
After so much time doing sports, gym, eating healthy, etc. What can be the issue to still be unable to lower weight? I would consider that being 190-210 is a range in which I would be more comfortable.
I bring this topic in case you know of something that could be stopping me from being leaner? Water retention, should I give up on protein shake to avoid cravings, too much fruit/vegetables, etc? Note: I am not a bodybuilder, but I am big by genetics and lift 4-5 times per week (everything I do is 10-15 reps and not very heavy). At the end of session I do HIIT or 40' of medium-intensity stairs/eliptical/bike
Well, I appreciate if any of you have an educated guess on this matter.
Thanks in advance !

Hi Pavlovski, good to talk to you.
What times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?
