I was wandering if Protien supplement containing WPI helps you tone up...i have jus started boxing about 3 weeks ago and i want to loose abit of excess fat and tone up but don't wanna loose muscle...is WPI a good option?
muscle is preserved through wt training...wt is lost from a total diet plan of solid foods...a powder should only be used straight after workouts anyway and maybe as a meal replacement if really needed so get your diet in order before spending money on a powder...post your plan so we can have a look at it

u should swap the sessions around for better results with more wts than cardio workouts...muscle burns fat so the more muscle you have, the more fat you can overall..."chucking" wts in is ridiculous get a plan...no extra on weeekend...to get the split down the middle you need to some twisting and rotational core execises couipled with weighted versions of leg raise and crunch variations...don't do too much though...start with a tri set of rotation, leg raise and crunch variation for 3 cycles of no more than 15 reps each exercise 2 a week...from there if no changes we can go to a 3rd or change it up more
