wierd ab bench,HELP

i got this ab bench in gym

after experementign it for 2 days..i maanaged to decline it,LOL,...but the wierd thing about it is...shouldnt the thing that blocks ur leg be at the below part , but istead mthsi 1 is above?...i dont know hw to us eit
