Change diet. Would probably help a lot more. Most exercises contribute to increases in Metabolism, to help burn fat, but they don't actually burn Fat themselves to any great extent if at all.

Most people have to get down to a really low body to get rid of that lower fat. It's stubborn. A solid exercsie program and a good clean diet can make a difference. All the ab exercises in the world won't take that fat away if you aren't eating right.

i don't quite understand how deadlifts & squats help in burning down to a six pack. i always thought deadlifts and squats were generally for back (maybe) and legs. could someone explain?

Deadlifts/Squat are the heaviest moves, Hit lower back and legs witch are HUGES muscles result : Boost your metabolism making you use more calories. Heavy exersices also promote the releash of anabolic hormones, such as testosterone.

These movements also involve a lot of joins, it's not comparable to rubbish sit-ups ...

For most people, secret to sexy abs is only to be lean ...

ooh ok. thanks for clearing that up for me.i'll start doing those.:)
i also heard about HIIT. i was a confused a little by it and was wondering if someone could clear it up for me and this seems like a good time if ever.. as i understand it, it's pretty much going from 2.5 mph on a treadmill for 2 minutes and then running at around 5 mph for 2 minutes? i think that's it... but i'm not sure. i'm thinking about taking it up. but i don't know if i should do it everyday like usual cardio.. thanks.

well don't put actual speed on the intervals yet....i have clients go as easy as they can then as hard as they can...don't do easy than moderate, it won't work as it's supposed to...mix it up each session so maybe 30 on/90 off, 1 on/1 off, 2 on/ 1 off etc
