Steam rooms, saunas...

Post by lacrosse34 »

After every workout i sit in the steam room. One day buddy came and worked out with me and said he didn't want to go in because you lose weight and muscle. Another friend told me its good for your muscles and promotes growth as the heat lets better blood flow through the muscles you tore during your workout. I know you just sweat out the water from your body but are what friends telling me true?

all it does is make you sweat so you might lose "water" wt, not fat wt...in wouldn't go in one..as soon as you drink again, which should be anyway, you'll put it straight back on

Plus if you sweat more, you could increase Cramp risk, by sweating more Salt.

Plus for overweight people, the possibility for Water to help Metabolise Fat, could possibly be reduced from the Sweating.

Wouldn't use any Saunas or Steam rooms at all.
