I weighed myself July 1 at 183lb now here it is aug 10 and I have not budge yet, I 've been lifting and doing cardio; however diet is not the best in the world. How can I break this plateau?
chicks will lose fat and gain muscle at the same rate initially so even if scale hasn't moved, hopefully you see changes in the mirror...if you don't then then we need a re vamp
Ahh the dreaded weight plateau! As a professional dieter over the years I feel qualified (unfortunately) to comment on this on. From the sound of it you are doing everything right . . reducing your caloric intake and exercising. The first thing you need to do if you haven’t already is get out the measuring tape. What does your current diet and workout plan look like? I bet if you made some changes to those you could get off that plateau in no time. Post an example of a typical day for diet and show us your workout routine so suggestions can be made there. :)
