new program

Post by thekid24 »

starting a new program again :) had fun with own and now im tryna up the intensity a little.

im thinking of taking charles staley's principles and tweaking it a little(doing as many reps as possible in a 20 minute time frame but with only one exercise per muscle group)

so tomorrow heres what its gonna look like:
incline db bench
t-bar rows
squats

then the next day:
db curls
kickbacks/extensions
lateral raises

3rd day:
light cardio

4th day:
flat db bench
deadlifts
pulldowns

5th day:
db lunges
planks
calf raise

6th day:
hammer curls
skull crushers
db shoulder press/dips

7th day:
off

feedbacks anyone? much appreciated.
peace.

You might be dead by day 7.
Check out staleytraining.com, you will find all you need to know about EDT there. It's a great program, but you've got it mixed up some.

haha i know cuz im tryna see how far i can take it. guess i misunderstood CT when he said overtraining is misused by so many people and when someone works out too much people will quickly assume hes "overtraining".

cuz his beast bodybuilding program is so intense i thought i could pump it up even more. i forgot to mention that im doing 3 reps per set on these workouts with 80% then the next week, 90% with 2 reps per set then the 3rd week with 95% doing 1 rep.

and i forgot to add im kinda mixing up both staley's and CT's program so yeah. if some1 can tweak it up some then it would be great. thanks.

- not good mate
- as D said you'll be dead in a week
- trying to see how far tyou can take it??? ridiculous thing to try...why don't you try and jump the canyon just to msee how far you can jump too
- rule number 1 - don't mix programs...no offecne but i think ct/cs are better at this then you so if you're way might br better don;t you think they might have thought of it...just do ct's program as is..i've done it and it's good

anyway yea i guess i kinda liked both of the programs so i decided to try and mash them together.

so how was the program swanso and did you use any of the supplements like he said at the end of the article?

im a little worried cuz i dont use supplements and he said you'll gain more if you use them.

Never forget that they are sponsored by Biotest, for sure some supplement can be VERY handy but never essential, don't worry at all.

Bodybuilding Supplements you can get benefit from.

Protein and Carbs.

Glutamine.

Creatine, but hold off until you've decent size, or the results will be mediocre, and when you do avoid ones that give you 10g per scoop, as long-term that could be unhealthy.

Maybe something like Arginine. More benefits compared to just NO, and unless you have a Herpes Virus you shouldn't have any problems with Arginine.

Anything else like Pro-hormones, HMB, Tribulus, NO etc etc, aren't really worth it, and especially if you have something that claims to give you massive opumnps, huge energy surges, mega bloodflow and costs double the money, avoid them like the plague.

The only thing they're good for realistically is lining a supplement execs pockets. They won't help give you any gains, you can't get from the stuff I said.

now that i think about it, ct's program is probably too advanced for you, you shouldn't proably go below 5 reps/set at this time

you haven't trained for that long so you're probably not ready for the intensity of the program...the fact your grip runs out quick is a definate sign of that...don't be in a hurry and skip "steps" it's a marathon not a sprint
