Flaxseed Oil, is made from Flaxseeds, but the problem is there is evidence that the Oil itself is not as healthy as it could be, and the bottom line is if in doubt go for the Seeds themselves.

If you want Oils to put on food, try things like Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Seasame Oil etc etc.

Flaxseeds are also a source of Lignans, which mimic Oestrogen, and can bind to receptors, reducing chances of excess Oestrogen issues like Breast Cancer.

Flaxseed oil is definately a Great Supplement to take!.. Flaxseed oil has the good fats that u need to put on, because Remember, YOU ALSO NEED FAT in ur diet but not too much! for example if u weight 120lbs, u need( 120g-140 protein, 120-140g good carbs, and about 50g of Fat, granted saturated fat is ok aswell because fat also helps in the bodybuilding process!

Fats: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

Let’s get the record straight. Not all fat is evil. In fact, our bodies need fat to function. You see, fat serves as an energy source, and it also plays an important role regarding the health of our cells. It doesn’t stop there. Fat plays an active role in the construction of our cells. Other fats, like omega 3 fatty acids perform a variety of functions such as regulating our heart rate, affecting blood vessel constriction, and preventing blood clotting.

If you're like most people, you get it, of course. You realize that fats are an important part of your bodybuilding routine; however, you may be unsure as to the type of fats you should be consuming. True, our bodies need fats, but they aren’t all the same. Just as there are some fats that are good for us, there are some fats that should be avoided at all cost

Therefore if u look at the back of the flaxseed nutrition fact u see that the formula has all the contents that u need to add the good fat calories that u do need throughout the day!

I would heed caution with ther Oil, as there's evidence floating around that it isn't as good as previously thought. I would reccomend the Flax Seeds or powdered version, for people who are wary of oil.
