SUPPLEMENTS = Hormonal imbalance

Post by hemantbhagwat »

Hi Guys,

I tried to do a lot of research on supplements and got a lot of mixed opinions. Most of their users complained hormonal imbalance and the most common drawback was loss of softness or innocence on the face and looking more mature than one should be. Fat-burners were the most disliked supplements. Please advice?

Regards,

Depends what you're using.

If they are herbal kinds of supplements, a lot are very beneficial for Joint health, Cholesterol, Blood pressure Immune system etc etc.

If they are slimming suppleents many don't like them, for obvious reasons. Cleaims that are hard to prove.

If you're talking bodybuilding supplements, then yes many are unnecessary ones that cost a lot, and aren't worth a penny, but some basic ones like Whey, Glutamine etc etc are worth the money.

However you can get problems with them.

Some interact badly with medications, some can create a situation, where your daily Vitamin and Mineral intake are too high, and cause Vitaminosis, and Mineral competiton / deficiencies.

Some may be needed for people with problems with Mineral / Vitamin absorption, though some Vit / Mineral supplements aren't too digestible.

Some supplements in gerenal may be contraindicated in people with certain conditions, whereby taking them could cause a serious issue, and some people just don't need them.
