Workouts that can be done on rest days?

Post by KevinWhite »

I was wondering if you can do some workouts on a rest day (i'm not feeling sore). I was thinking push up variations or other no free weight/machine exercises... good or bad idea??

also what is the best method of converting decline/incline exercises into push ups??

bodyweight stuff stuff is a great idea...pick a leg, chest and back exercise and do them back to back x 10mins for 8 reps each with no rest, count the total reps and beat it next time

I woz thinking wouldnt it be a bad thing to do BW exercises on your off days?

I just thought the body was recharging, ready for the followin weight day. Also what if you do cardio/HIIT/ab(core) work on off days?

should be no harder on the body then interval training, it's only 10mins and light stress so you shouldn't cause any muscle damage

I have a one-day off two-day training; two-day off two day training schedule. I just set schedule that the two day off will be on the middle of the workdays and leg training schedule on Friday. Becaus I do biking (bike to work) every working days. So that when Friday comes (w/c Leg Training) I will have two-days recovery for lower body.
