So for the past couple of months ive been drinking this Whey isolate powder, each serving is as follows (mixed with water)
Protein - 50G
Carbs - 22.5G (High)
Fat - 1.8G
Cals - 309
not sure if i really need to post any other info, does this sound ok? Im going down to local health store tommorow to stock up on some more whey as ive run out, jus wondering if i should re-think choice. During the day i dont eat alot of carbs and the extra cals help me towards the 3000 i need.
Also with this shake, post workout would i need to eat any carbs seeing as the above has 22.5G.

Depends on your fitness goals.
Looking to bulk up...I would say look at what types of carbs are in the protein mixture. If it is mostly sugar, I would suggest eating whole-wheat pasta, bread, or bagel. If it's lacking in sugar, add a serving of honey or some fruit (I like bananas or grapes). Or drink with skim milk or have a glass of it a little after you drink down the shake.
Looking to slim down or maintain...the carbs are probably fine. Like bossman said, maybe a peice of wheat bread.
Personally, I use Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Standard and like it for the affordable price. Yes, it lacks carbs, but I eat carbs with it.
