Continue to Waterbury Methods?

Post by spawn »

Hello everyone.

I started using Waterbury programs with WM. After that Big Boys Basic. 2 weeks off. After that Single's Club. 1 month vacation. Then again WM.

question is, which program should I follow? I reviewed Quattro Dynamo, Waterbury High Frequency System and Lift Fast Get Big. target is basically maintain what I got. What do you suggest? High Frequency looks good.

If you have other program suggestions please write.

Is there any particular reason that you will start this one?

i bought his book "huge in a hurry" and the high frequency training is in that along with 5 or 6 other programmes lasting around 16 weeks each.

the reason im thinking of doing that one is it looks like a challenge, he also says in his book its his best programme for packing on muscle, but its also the hardest to get right, you need to be really strict and follow it religiously.

why do you only want to maintain? you must want to get bigger or leaner...

@RK19

Thanks for reply. I always follow programs as per instructions. I think this program is good.

@swanso5

I think I'm in good shape. I want to be more leaner that's for sure. I have some fat in but I think 20 min. cardio enough for it and summer is coming so I will start to swim. That will help for fat.

As I said I think I'm in good shape. But more bigger/sharp-cut upper chest would be good. (Narrow grip incline BB bench press will help I think.) And if I stop working out I will loose what I have which is I don't want after all those efforts.

i'm not sold on swimming for fat loss, you never see any real lean swimmers...

get more leaner it is then...maybe 10 x 3 for fat loss or CW also has an article on "out training a bad diet" which is basically hell wrapped in an program...can't remember the actual name but go through his article list on t-nation, it is there

@swanso5

I think swimmers are not lean because they are getting more calories than they need during exercise season. I will not get much calories during summer time that's for sure.

Anyway, I have started to High Frequency. Going well so far.

Thank you for your replies.

not really, it's because they spend so much time in the water they their bodies hold onto some fat to keep core temperature high...something like that

OK. I will keep you posted. Third day today. It is not pushing you too much. I know that it is too early to say it but I think it is effective. We'll understand soon.
