I've been lifting for about 10 months using the waterbury method every other day. I'm happy with the results and gains but I would like to take maximum advantage of every workout.... The only supplements I take now are Protein (GNC 100% Whey) and L-Glutamine. I only take one serving after a workout. I'd like to bump up amount of daily protein and possibly start taking creatine. I understand you're supposed to get most of your protein from your daily diet, just want to make sure I'm getting enough.
Right now I take the protein and L-glutamine shake right after a workout. Is this the best time? Also, I'm assuming if I have another protein shake during the day best time is morning?
Lastly the creatine. Is this just added to the protein shake, one serving per day?
Brands would help too. Like I said above I'm taking GNC 100% whey (chocolate flavored i think) and the GNC L-glutamine. friend keeps telling me to go with CellTech (by MuscleTech) but I've heard not so good things about that stuff... I'm not picky on flavor/texture either. If I can mix it in water then I'll drink it.
...Another Creatine Question

Protein and Glutamine after workouts. Yes.
Protein at night for anti-catabolic reasons. Yes could do.
Protein for breakfast. Possibly, but half a scoop only though.
Creatine. not really, unless you're a good lean weight like 170+ lbs. Even after 10 months lifting, if you're not really a good lean bulk, you'll get poor or sub-standard results that don't justify the money.
Celltech. Expensive stuff just whacked full of Sugar. Plus 10g per scoop. Never heard of anyone advocating 2 scoops of a regular 5g kind at once.
I personally believe for long-term Kidney health, it's not good to dose 10g at once, for up to 3 months at a time, so I'd avoid Celltech like the plague.

I've been working out for 10 months and "dieting" (eating healthy) for 6. I dropped from 230lbs to just under 200lbs. If creatine isn't the route to go I won't start I just want to get the most out of workouts.
I was told "creapure" was one of the better creatine products. I see a lot of either creatine only or creatine mixes, stay away from the mixes?
