Heard of such things. I believe they're referred to as whole food supplements.
Some even say they are necessary, but I wouldn't necessarily agree.
I don't see much wrong with them, but you could try looking at something like consumerlab.com for unbiased advice on such things, as they might have some analysis on such supplements.
