I think I am back on track now. I haven't worked out much over the past couple of weeks but I guess that is what I have needed because back doesn't hurt at all.
So I am now MISSING going to the gym and cannot wait to get going again. Will start up tomorrow!

Injuries are an inevitable byproduct of training.
You will get injured from time to time.
The key is to not let the injury keep you out of the gym and that you need to learn to work around the injury. If you don't do that you will repeatedly find yourself not training and eventually you will give up the training entirely.
It's hard to tell if this was a delayed reaction or a muscle spasm. It's always the best thing to contact a doctor and see if he finds the reason for the problems. I know that there are muscle relaxants on the market, e.g. there is an online shop for Flexeril but you should check before if this is the right medication for you.
Read you article. I will have to get more creative next injury (hopefully no more injuries ).
I went to the gym last night and it was great! I still feel just fine so I think whatever it was, it was a minor thing.
I do know about Joint Injuries because I did injure rotator cuff about 2 years ago. It still bothers me and hurts from time to time but I have noticed that the more I have worked out and built up the strength in arm, shoulder, and chest muscles, the less it bothers me.
