Boopster wrote:Clean Diet and an effective weight training program with HIIT cardio 2-3 times a week will help you. I believe RK was really trying to help you when you requested advice. Check out the nutrition section for an eating plan and when you go to the gym...stay away from the machines. Use free weights as much as you can with proper form. Good luck to you. And by the way I agree with RK...abs are way overrated. I like nice shoulders and strong back...a great smile helps too :D
true. abs are overrated but nothing wrong with wanting them. and i agree with most people on here that doing a good, solid weight training program and putting on some serious muscle is what you should do. then you can worry about the abs.

but if you really want the abs so bad, everyone's giving the right advice. CLEAN DIET and a good workout program WITH direct ab work should get you on the right track.

dont worry about abs until your boy fat percantage is at 15%.
some people get motivated because they want to see abs but the majority like stated above dont see results and quit.

Woahhh cowboy. It bugs me when people who give good, sound advice (ie RK) get it thrown back in their face and people get shirty.

Full body workouts with 6-8 cycles of HIIT 3 x a week. Google it!!!

Pls be kind to people who advice you

Everyone here is right that abs should be the last thing to work on. Everyone has ab muscle, only that they have to be revealed by burning the fat covering it. So Weight, good cardio and clean diet are important to get started. Once your fat % is low then you can develop the abs muscle.

You should be kind with words to people like RK who are trying to advice others. And it is you who is asking for hlep. Anyway Its individual personality, thats advise as a fellow fitness freak

Cool video

Post by healthnut09 »

Here's a cool video I found. This technique helps. You really need to focus on cardio , weights, and diet, especially diet. Circuit training will give you great results. You don't need to go to the gym to do this. You can use body weight resistance. Get creative doing sprints for 15 min. and the driopping down to push-ups/plank variations etc. The key is to combine different techniques together. Hope this helps!

Hi,

You don't need to exercise your abs daily. For me, that's too much. You need to rest your muscles too. At least 2-3 times per week would be enough.
