Uh oh!

Post by SimplyBlessed »

I really enjoyed birthday - probably too much! Now I'm worried that 2 days off track may have dramatically hindered progress! second goal was to lose 15lbs by August 7th for tropical vacation with awesome boyfriend. I am wondering if it's going to be possible now that I am only 2lbs down after a whole month... Am I going to have to cut back to only chicken, egg whites and veggies for the next 4 weeks? Is it possible? I have always shot for a goal of 1-2lbs per week but now I am feeling as though I might be defeated by own deadline here. What do you all think?

I personally think you should just do as much as you can by your deadline. I mean, it is good that you set a goal for yourself. But set a small realistic goal. If you will try to lose 15 pounds in 4 weeks I will be a friend and will be honest with you and say that will be tough. It can happen but it will be hard. That’s less than 4 weeks and you will have to try to lose about 3-4 pounds per week.

I say… Continue to do your best and work out like you are doing. You will lose something for sure if you stay focus. But I don’t want you to give yourself a goal that can damage your healthy and then feel defeated and discourage and will NOT want to continue.

So… Ok, you had fun for your birthday… so enjoy it. It’s a new day now so back on track. You should have more energy and more determine to get those ugly fats GONE!

As for your diet... I think you can still have more protein stead of just chicken and eggs. You can still have fish for your protein and your complex carbs for your energy. Where are your fruits? And of course keep your veggies!

Continue working on your healthy diet and enjoy your tropical vacation (where Hawaii?) And when you come back… come back strong and continue your healthy living style! :D

Aw Nokie you're so sweet! 15lbs wasn't so unrealistic when I started a month ago but now I definitely see it's not working quite the way I'd hoped! I am still going to do best but I admit that I'm dissapointed in progress so far. I feel good but I wanted to really show everyone best and this has not been best!

It’s ok to be disappointed… we are all human!
That should be a motivation for you to work extra hard for the next few weeks you have!
No excuses!!! You will eat CLEAN! You will work out like there’s tomorrow!
Make sure to have your rest day!!! – for that… go get a massage for your soreness! :P
Come on girl… get your butt up and start start start!!!!

Don't over restrict your eating, you're not being fair to yourself, trying to possibly force accellerated Fat loss.

You should continue in the way that is working, and not do things, that could possibly prove to be an impedence, or counter-productive.

So as already has been said, just try to lose as much as you can, using methods that already work for you.

Don't be hard on yourself for having a good time. You had a birthday, so don't let something good like that, rebound on yourself. It's emotionally hurting, and might make you consider options in your weight loss, that have no place in a sensible, controlled regime.

You're already doing great, and the way you're doing it, IS the way you should be doing it.

Don't do anything to possibly sabotage your results yeah, and no fretting about that birthday. You had a good time and you deserved it. You're a fantastic person, and you shouldn't be hard on yourself for that.

So keep up the worthy and right efforts, forget other less worthy options, and keep loving yourself. You're worth that time and attention you give yourself, so keep reminding yourself of that.

ditto what Boss man said.

Don't panic about the numbers...just keep working hard, get your eating plan back on track and just keep on keeping on :D
We are always much harder on ourselves than anyone else is or cares to be.
Don't beat yourself up, you are doing great and WILL look and feel awesome by the time your tropical vacation (I'm jealous  ) gets here. Don't forget to pack the sunscreen :D :D :D

Thanks for all the support everyone!!! That is why I like you all so much!

As far as the sunscreen goes don't worry I have a beach umbrella and spf 500 sunscreen - a medication I take makes me highly sensitive to the sun! And - I'm tan all the time anyways so I don't need the extra darkness or the burn!
