Right, this how it's going to work.
I'm not having two perfectly good members grouching at each other, like a pair of 8 year olds, that can't play in the sandpit nicely.
So this nonsense about defamatory this, can't understand that, legal etc etc, will cease. I don't need it, and neither does this site. It's counterproductive, and harming the good work everyone has contributed too, including yourselves.
Personally, Beachdog, I don't have any issues with your past history, or potential credentials, so I know if you say what you've been, you were that person. I don't see as you've anything to gain lying about your past on here, as it wouldn't allow you to weedle yourself any life changing opportunities or financial gain.
At the same time, I don't question Swanso's credentials either. Never have, never will. I employ a quite liberal minded approach, to how I respond to some people, mainly because I'm like that with myself in some respects. Swanso, likes to focus on certain things / aspects. His ways, and sometimes I may not 100% agree, but I'll either politely disagree, or keep counsel, and focus on other stuff, as I know he, just like Beachdog, has no intention of giving people haphazard or slightly miscued advice, though sometimes with the best will in the world, it can been done, myself included.
However the recent situation, (traces of which have been removed, to keep integrity with the posters discussion), were in fairness provoked a bit by Beachdog, though I didn't expect it to go the way it did.
This occured, because Beachdog, you decided to correct someone, instead of offering your comments as an alternative viewpoint, then decided to insult someone elses intelligence, by making out he wouldn't understand your reasoning for it.
Swanso, implied something outright about Beachdog, which wasn't necessary. Frankly I don't care whether someone is called Cressey, Cosgrove, Thibadeau, or Bob the Builder, it doesn't automatically make them better than the next guy.
I don't expect either of you to have mutual respect for each other, nor do I think either of you should leave, nor would I want you to.
So the bottom line is.
1. Either slightly alter the wording you use towards each other, so you can disagree without it looking personal.
2. Avoid discussions purely relating to peoples circumstances, (as opposed to discussions based on opinion), if one of you has already commented.
3. Comment on stuff, but give any comments based as an alternativer or additional option, not as a direct confontation of someone elses remarks.
I would respect two grown men not to respond to this, with a he said, but he did, but he called me, childish pass the buck mentality.
I'm not addressing both of you privately, because this is not a situation, where someone has knarked one or two members, this stuff is two people affecting many, with petty little comebacks, and comments containing one or two mistaken choices of wording.
You will be allowed right to reply on this thread if you want it, hence the reason it's public, so others can see what is said, and to hopeully put other peoples minds at rest about you two.
I would prefer it if you don't persue intolerant behaviour, towards each other in private either, or myself or indeed Cassie or Admin.
If you both don't like choice of action towards this, I don't care. I'm not going to apologise for dealing with it in this way. I'm giving you both fair forum to reply if you so want it, and others the right to watch, though it would be prudent of others, not to intervene in any forthcoming comments, incase they're misinterpreted as taking sides.
We don't take sides, except when new members disrespect us. We are all working towards common objectives and goals for this site, and the benefit of others. I won't put up with members, even good ones, going against what many have worked hard to achieve here.
End of.
For Swanso and Beachdog

Sorry Bossman, for not replying sooner. Have been attending a medical conference and then didn't see the posting.
Differences of opinion are inevitable when people have received their training in different fields and at different universities. tutors and professors always jumped on me from a great height when I made an error, so it looks like it may have rubbed off on me in correcting erroneous information.
This website provides a valuable tool for both helping newbies set up a training regime, and, keeping up the motivation to continue towards goals for the rest of their lives. It needs to run smoothly.
daily committments are heavy. High intensity Boot Camp training sessions part-time instructor; Trainer in female weightlifting regimes; road cycling; trail running and road running advisor; personal rowing training; sports medicine practitioner; and just this week have become involved in establishing a bush retreat where a military type confidence course (obstacle course) can be permanently established, for high adrenaline junkies and the super fit thrill seekers. (Includes tunnels, pipes, tyres, swamp crossings, nets, steeplechase obstacles, razor wire, walls, high altitude ropes, abseiling, ice pits, fire strips, and swimming thru thick mud. No crocodiles at this stage)
So, I'm off now
I particularly wish all the girls the very best in the future. Bye Bye
