Some women continue to lactate as long as they get suckled. I knew a woman that breast fed her son until he was 6; she only stopped because she was pregnant with another child and would not have sufficient milk for both.

I shudder to think what this would do the the emotional balance of her son.

Totally agree. I was always self concious about non existant boobs and wore bra's so it looked like I needed one Iconsidered implants throughout the years but I'm sooooooo glad I didn't have them done. As I get fitter I feel stronger, the boobs actually appear bigger and they will never, never sag I don't even wear a bra anymore.

Be happy with what you've got - you look great - now you need to feel great!

best friend and i were actually talking about this last night... not moms breastfeeding kids until they're teenagers.. but the whole boobage shrinkage thing. Both of us are training for our first competition... I'm doing figure and shes doing bikini. We've both shrunk a full bra size since we started training. I couldn't be happier with shrinkage and best friend is panicking because hers have shrunk. Personally, I would much rather have smaller ones than bigger ones. They don't get in the way as much and i can wear lower slung shirts without hanging out or looking slooty. thoughts are, this way they don't get in the way at the gym and if i do ever want them to look bigger i'll just get a good bra.

Boobs are a pain and they do get in the way! Mamma gave them to me so I gotta keep them cause if not then they will look like two deflated balloons. So far no notable damage even though I have lost at least 10 lbs of fat. If they shrivel up I cannot afford implants so wish me luck! Wish I could wear those cute little strappy tops though. Clare, yours are just fine. Wear a backless top for me, k?
