Bikini Bod By June 2010!

Monday 1/18/2010-Hey guys! As promised, I'm starting a new adventure today. first journey (New body by December 2009) was about loosing weight, getting used to new adjustments (food & exercise) and trying to flatten "ugly " :lol:. It was a roller coaster ride, but I liked the final results. However, I know I CAN do better. I'm not satisfied with tummy and I would love to have a very toned body. Therefore, I have decided to set a new goal: (OK, let me breath first before I pass out :lol:) To have a bikini body by JUNE 2010:shock: :shock: :shock:. That's in 5 months :shock:! GuLP! OK, let me breath again....I am very nervous because I haven't worn a bikini in many, many, many,...(you get the point). I'm also nervous because I have a big "stretch mark problem". During first journey, some of the stretch marks disappear, tummy got smaller & the skin got a little firmer. I REALLY HOPE this time around, "problem" somehow disappears. I know, it'll take a miracle and more for that to happen. But, I'm a firm believer :D! I'm planning to work harder & eat cleaner to achieve goals. I'm also planning to join a gym (for the first time in years). So far, have been trained for two days (YES!) and to be honest, I'm still sore. But is a good type of sore. It tells me that is working. Today, I decided to have a "cardio day". This was schedule:

Pre-breakfast: 1/2 chocolate protein shake mixed w/ 1/3 cup of coffee & skim milk
Workout: 10,640 steps walking in the park (changing speeds every 3 minutes)-used pedometer as guide
Breakfast: 100% whole wheat toast w/ 1/2 can of tuna w/(tomatoes, onions, l. mayo) & 1/2 chocolate protein w/ 1/2 banana
Snack: 1/2 multigrain bagel w/ low fat cream cheese & 1 cup of water
Lunch: 3oz grilled chicken breast w/ stir fry on olive oil (green beans, tomatoes, onions & red peppers) & 1/2 cup of brown rice w/ 1 bottle of water
Workout: walked 1 mile & drank 1/2 bottle of water
Snack: Low fat cottage cheese w/ pineapple & 1 cup of water
Dinner: Grilled chicken salad w/ pieces of avocado & canellini beans, 1 bottle of water & 1/4 cup of grapes
Workout: HIIT jumping & Wii Fit super Hula Hoop (broke record 700 on the right side & 960 on the left) & Wii Fit free run (ran for 10 minutes)
Snack: 1/2 cookies & cream protein shake
I started the week with cardio because I was still sore and because tomorrow will be last day of "free training" by the "drill sargent". You know what that means...He will be kicking butt non-stop. He wants to see blood :lol:. Ok, I'm exagerating about the blood, but not about the butt kicking :lol:. But, I'm prepared. I applied icy hot all over sore body parts, prepared towel, headband & clothes and packed 2 big brown bags just in case I puke again :lol:. I even set 911 on speed dial :lol:. Just kidding! Not, is all TRUE! :lol: Hey, I'm for real. That's how hard he's going to make me work. But I'm excited and can't wait to start his torture :lol:. Honestly, I just want to get body in shape by June. In time to put on that 2 piece bikini I've been dreaming about wearing for many, many years :D. Let the adventure begin!....

Ohh..Thanks Les. You are sooo sweet. As for new goal, I can't have fun while I have a no-nonsense "drill sargent" hanging on neck. He made me sweat...blood. I think I floated home. legs are still moving on the eliptical :lol:. WOW! what a workout. He was brutal. When I got to the gym I had the "newbie" face. I entered the place and greeted trainer with a big smile. Bad idea. I think he wasn't in a good mood. Very seriously, he said: "go change. I give you 1 minute". I looked at him shocked and he said: "now you have 30 seconds" :shock:. I ran to the locker & like superman, better yet, superwoman, was ready. Ran towards him and he asked what took me so long :shock:. Anyways, he had me on the treadmill warming up & then, to the machines. Today, we worked on the lower body. There were two machines (don't remember the names) but are awesome. They work the inner & outer thighs. After I finished the 4 sets of 20 I did in each, I couldn't close legs. I felt like I had ridden a horse for 8 hours :lol:. People were looking at me & maybe wondering what was wrong :lol:. Then, I worked on the front part of thighs & the back (hamstring?). I started walking wobbly. He asked me If I was ok. I said yes. In mind, I was cursing him out...just kidding! And guess what he did next? He took me to work out butt (he said glutes). At that moment, I heard angels :lol:. I worked really hard. I squeeze glutes so hard, muscles that were asleep, suddenly awakened! Like in the living dead :lol:. LOOOOVED IT!! I can't sit (it hurts so bad) but it's a good pain :D. Too bad It was the last day. If I want to continue training with him I had to get the membership & pay $100/hr. Out of budget at this time. However, I still have 4 more days! Will put in practice EVERYTHING he taught me. I already sat down & did a mental re-tracing of all the machines we used for upper & lower. He also told me to take advantage of the sauna while I still have time left on free pass. I'll definitely will. I love the sauna! Too bad hubby won't be with me. He enjoys it too. Ok, back to workout. After the butt shaping time, we worked on abs...AWESOME. Felt the burn. I think that If I continue doing his workout, I can see getting flatter. There is hope!! Our time was almost over. He suggested I finish up on the treadmill, but I decided to finish on the eliptical. You know, to impress him. It worked! He said he was proud of me, he will miss me (really?) and that I have been his best student (Alright! :D ). He even gave me a hug. I guess I "broke" the "drill sargent" :lol:. son & his friend were proud of me & very happy not to see him around me anymore :lol:. I had a blast. He suggested I do cardio tomorrow. I'm thinking about either steps or kickboxing. Whatever it is I choose, I bet I'm going to sweat & have fun. schedule went like this:
Breakfast: Cream of wheat w/ skim milk & eggwhite & 1/2 banana
Snack: 1/2 multigrain bagel w/ low fat cream cheese & 1/2 cup of coffee w/ skim milk & 1 sweet & low
Lunch: Grilled chicken fajita w/ mushrooms, onion, tomatoes & avocado & 1 bottle of water
Snack: strawberries w/ cottage cheese & 1 cup of water
Dinner: 3oz grilled chicken breast w/ 1/2 cup brown rice & beans & side salad w/ 1 bottle of water
Workout: 10 minutes warmup on treadmill, lower body & abs & 7 minutes on eliptical
Snack: cookies & cream protein shake
Tomorrow, I'll do cardio as suggested. But in the morning, I'll do the 6 minutes ab workout video...You know, trying to whip tummy into shape :D

That's really cool about that trainer helping you out like that and giving you free training sessions. I know what you mean about not being able to afford a trainer at that price. I think sometimes they have packages and deals so you don't pay as much. You got plenty of time to be in great shape for a bikini by summer. Your definitely on your way! :)

Thanks Les for the names. I really like those machines. I also "discover" two new machines. One has a seat & you twist from side to side. I'm pretty sure it works the abs. Can't wait to use it tomorrow! The other, is called a "fly" something. It works the chest area. It looks hard to do. I'm not that strong on that area. Maybe It might help me perk up friends a little more :D I hope it doesn't make me bigger. goal is to shrink them & who knows? Maybe a little more lift will be great
:D. day has been pretty boring & tired. Feeling weird all day. Hope I'm not getting sick. Today at the gym was very embarrasing & crazy. Had planned to do cardio, but when I got there all the treadmills & elipticals were busy. Decided to work on the bike. After 5 minutes, I had to stop because seat was to high & I couldn't adjust it. The screws were very thight. Somebody try to help, but didn't work. I saw a treadmill in a corner. Looked very old. Went over, stepped on it & it was working. Was doing good, until I decided to increase speed & incline. As soon as I pushed the button, it came into a sudden stop. Almost throwing me off the treadmill. After waiting for heartbeat to settle & blood pressure to lower down, I looked around the room to make sure nobody saw it. Didn't work! People had the "that's why I don't use that treadmill" face & some of them were avoiding making eye contact. At that moment I wanted the ground to swallow me up :oops:. son came over (he saw) & after giving me a hug, he said to me what I always tell them to cheer them up: "Don't worry, brush it off, put your chin up & move on. Never give up. Giving up is for loosers & you're a big winner in book" :shock: . Hey! that's line! I guess is true: What goes around, comes around :lol:. Why today? I want to go home :cry:. Oh well, that messed plans up & I didn't know what to do. I was pretty much LOST! Until they announced they were going to start the kickboxing class. It was great! High energy & lots of combinations. Really good music too. I'm glad I stayed. Didn't work abs as planned. I felt a little off. Like fish out of water. Ihope tomorrow goes as planned. Better day..

Breakfast: Oatmeal w/ eggwhites & 1/2 chocolate protein shake w/ skim milk & coffee
Workout: 6 min abs video & Hiit Jumping
Snack: 1/2 chocolate protein shake w/ 1/2 banana
Lunch: Grilled chicken sandwich w/ lettuece & tomatoes, 1 bottle of water & 4 strawberries (expensive!)
Snack: 1/2 cup mixed nuts w/ raising & 1/2 string cheese & 1 cup of water
Dinner: whole wheat chicken pasta w/ mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli & garlic sauce, side salad & 1 bottle of water & few grapes
Workout: Kickboxing (30min) & 5 min on eliptical (Can't do it-maybe I'm doing it wrong or too weak)
Snack: 1/2 protein shake in water
Hope tomorrow I feel better & hope to work harder than today. Can't wait to try the twisting machine, the fly & the butt machine (like doing donkey kicks). Promised to learn all the names by Friday :shock: :oops:. Planning to work on arms & abs & get cardio going. Want to burn as much fat as I can :D

If you want to workout your tummy indirectly... suck them in when you do your workouts.
Like kickboxing... suck them in and kick... make sure to breath tho... That's just an idea.

Thursday 1/21Thanks for the info! Les.. abs do burn & twist. I can feel the stretch (uughh) but I love it! As for the fly machine, it'll be great to have girls perky, but I'll love to learn your "party trick" too. hubby will really enjoy it :lol: :wink:. Nokie... If I'm going to get faster results, I'll be sucking tummy until I turn blue :lol:. Just kidding! But I'll be sucking them in.
Today, felt much better. Got up, didn't know what to eat. Honestly, wasn't hungry and have ran out of meal options. Any suggestions? Anyways, day started with a "hubby request". He felt I haven't spent time with him since I started going to the gym :(. Poor big baby. Not true! He just miss having "craziness" around him after dinner. You know, after dinner, he is used to having me or us either playing Wii, jumping around, dancing for him, something crazy. Now, is just him for 2 hours alone (cause our youngest son plays video game or study while I'm gone). So, to make him happy, I decided to go a little early to the gym. I wasn't going to stay home. Nah huh! I only have 2 more days left in pass. Well, best decision made. When we got there, not that many people. I got on the treadmill to warmup & headed to the machines. Ok, learn the names of the ones I LOVE. The abductor, adductor, the peck fly, the seated leg press, abs twist & (not a machine) ab roller (love x 2). Since I was working on arms & abs, didn't use some of the machines. Although I really wanted too. Question: Can I work the entire body? Confession: I want to take advantage of the 2 remaining day and everytime I see machines I feel like a kid in a candy store. I'm very curious to learn what they do, how to work them...you get it. So many machines, so little time left. I also get a little confuse. When the drill sargent was training me, he had me doing 3 sets of 15 or 20. But since I loved the abs twist & ab roller, I wanted to keep going. Is is ok? I also LOOOOOVE the treadmill. Every minute I go higher on the incline with a 3.4 speed (sometimes & lower the speed). I can feel it in glutes :D. I know is impossible, but somehow, I can feel butt growing :lol:. Then I look in the mirror & it's the same size :( . hubby begs to differ :D. But I have that, what you call it? metamorphic syndrome? I guess brain sees it smaller :lol:. Back to the treadmill topic, after the abs & arm workout, I did the treadmill. Did the "interval training", but kept increasing incline & speed manually. Love to see the "high peak bars light up" :lol:. What does that mean? I saw the "fat burning" light up, but these bars where lower...under the high peak. Should I keep it on fat burning or high peak? After 30 minutes (time allowed), I did a hip hop class. That was fun. Even son & his friend did it with me. We had a great time! He was a little annoyed I was dancing better than him (he's very competitive- like mother like son) :lol:. Then, home. hubby was happy. To make him happier, we did a little hula hoop on the Wii :lol:. He liked it! Anything to keep him from complaining :wink:. schedule:

Early dinner: Grilled tilapia w/ onions, 1 cup of brown rice w/ 1/2 cup pf canellini beans & side salad & 1 bottle of water
Workout: arms & abs (100 on ab roller) & 30 min. treadmill & drank 1 bottle of water
Snack: thinking about having a skinny cow ice cream cone :oops: :D
Tomorrow: I think a total body workout. I just want to use ALL the machines :lol:. Can't wait!

Friday, Had a really hard day. youngest son woke up puking up a storm. I wanted him to say home, but like his momma, he went anyway. 2 hours later, I had to pick him up. He had a fever. The doctor said: virus. Couldn't go to the gym, but worked out at home. Not going to lie, miss the gym. So many machines, so many people & really good music. I have to make a correction. The "abs twist" is really called the rotary twist... favorite! I wish I had one at home. I also looove the treadmill. OMG! for the first time I let go of hands while working on a 9 incline going to a 3.4 speed. I felt to proud of myself :D. Was trying to run on it, but I'm too scared. I still have 2 more days left on pass :cry:, so I'm going to try it on Tuesday, last day. Very scared. Anyways, I did a full body workout video & the dancing video. Brought back memories of Florida vacation :lol:. Thank God hubby was very busy in another room, or I'll have to do it over & over & over again...like in Florida :lol:. Wasn't as hard as I work at the gym, but at least got some work done & got rid of some stress. However, didn't have a good night. Hate when kids are sick...I wish it was me. meals were very light & balance. I was so tired I didn't write in log what I ate.
Saturday, Yeah! son felt better! No fever & not throwing up. The first thing he said when waking up was: I'm hungry :lol:. Music to ears. After breakfast, I wanted to go to the gym, but decided to take the day off & spend time with the family. We stayed home, but we play UNO cards (for like 2 hours) & cooked. Later on, kids decided to play Wii fit & there we were, hula hooping for a cause. We had a bet. If I broke own record: 700 on right & 960 on left, I didn't have to cook 3 meals tomorrow. Just breakfast :D. I was really happy. No doubt I can break that record, DUH! NOT! For some reason, hips were all over the place. I was having trouble keeping the hula up & moving :cry:. Ok, to make this story short, I did worse than everybody. Even hubby! Unbelieveable. 340 on right & 378 on left :oops:. What's wrong with me? I guess I'll be cooking as normal tomorrow. But, had lots of fun with them. They are crazy! kinda family :lol:.

Dinner: grilled chicken w/ pasta & veggies & side salad & 1 bottle of water
Workout: Played with Wii Fit: Chicken game (arms), Hula Hoop (4 rounds), bicycle (2 rounds) & soccer.
Snack: 1/2 chocolate protein shake w/ strawberries
Tomorrow: Weather should be very nice. Thinking about walking & maybe, going to the gym. I really miss it!

Sounds like you might have one or two issues going to the Gym regularly. A cost issue perhaps?

Sunday, I decided to have a 2 mile walk around the park. It was cold, but It felt really good. I miss the outdoors. It gives me energy and It makes me feel alive...I know, it sounds crazy, but is true. After the walk, I had protein shake & got ready to take son to a video game store to get a memory card. There, we walked for about 1 hr. I got some exercise done while we shopped and while wearing high heel boots :D . By the time we finished, legs were killing me. Anyways, we went home & started to prepare dinner. After an 1hr, son, his friend and I headed to the gym. It was almost empty. Hey, good for me! I immediately got on the treadmil & did a 10 minutes warm up. Afterwards, to the machines. I did the upper body first (3 sets of 20 each machine) & added 3 sets of dips. Worked on abs (did planks, mountain climbers, side planks, rotary twist machine & crunches w/ ab roller) and finished w/ 30 minutes on treadmill (intervals). Felt very good. son & his friend did the same thing as me. We left the gym feeling a sense of accomplishment because we worked really hard.
Monday,It was a crazy morning. It was warmer than yesterday, but rainy & very windy. son & I practically flew to school :lol: (the wind was dragging us). Couldn't walk as planned, so decided to do a walking video at home. Also, did the 6 minutes abs video. In the afternoon, a friend & I decided to have lunch. Went to subways and ordered the oven roasted chicken breast on 9 grams honey & oats bread w/ provolones cheese. Added spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, olives & jalapeno ( first time-bad choice). entire mouth was on FIRE! Had 1/2 cup of d. coke & 1 bottle of water. I was about to call 911 :lol:. I also bought a bag of sliced apples for later (snack). We walked enough to get our metabolism going. Later in the afternoon, the rain had stopped, the sun came out & I walked home. People looked happy. Got home, changed clothes & off to the park I went. Walked for 2 hours. Needed to get something off mind and walking it's way of solving some issues for me. I love walking! Finished & went home to cook. Made turkey meatballs w/ spaghetti (whole wheat). Later at night, we played m & m bingo :oops: . Don't worry, didn't win any... schedule today:
Breakfast: Cream of wheat w/ skim milk & 1/2 banana
Workout: Walking video & 6 abs video
Snack: 1/2 protein shake
Lunch: Subway (6 inch) oven roasted chicken breast (EEWW! HOT, HOT,HOT) 1/2 cup d. coke & 1 bottle of water
Walked for 20 minutes
Snack: bag of apples & 1 string cheese & 1 cup of water
Workout: Walked for 2 hours (intervals)
Dinner: 2 Turkey Meatballs w/ whole wheat spaghetti & side salad (added some mushrooms, broccoli & peppers to plate) & 1 bottle of water
Tomorrow, last day at the gym :cry:. Will work on abs & lower body. Planning to do warm up on the stepper & using the sauna :D. Hope to melt off some fat while in there :lol:.

Tuesday, BRRRR! It was freezing. Decided to do the walking video & 6 minutes abs video (with 10lbs weight) in the morning. That warmed me up. Had so much stuff to do. Had lunch with a friend. We ate at subways. Had a 6" oven roasted chicken breast on 9 grain honey oat w/ spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sweet peppers, little l. mayo, vinegar & oregano. I also added jalapenos (first time-bad idea!) mouth was on FIRE :lol:. friend couldn't stop laughing until she realized I was choking. Oh well, learned lesson. In the evening, after preparing dinner, went to the gym ( last day). Warmed up on the bicycle & then, headed for the machines to work on lower body. Major accomplishments for me: on the seated leg press I did 80lbs (YES!), on the abductor & adductor: 30lbs & on the hip abductor/hip adductor: 50lbs. Love the hip ab & add better than the other one. I can really feel it on glutes :D. I also did: 3 sets of 10 (squats, sumo squats, walking lunges, regular lunges, hamstrings, donkey kicks & kick backs w/ 10lbs weights on each hand :shock:) I'm so proud of me! In pain, but proud :D. Confession: I'm still BAD at lunges. Can hear knees crack :lol:. They make these loud wierd noises...embarrasing! Finally, to the eliptical for 8minutes. The eliptical & I have this love-hate relationship. Once I get on it, I can stand it a minute longer than I hoped :lol:. So, I went to old friend the treadmill. I love it. I want one for birthday (if possible). Haven't hinted hubby yet. When walk was over, I went to the sauna. WEIRD! Maybe cause I haven't been to one in a while, but it was strange (maybe I was too hot & tired already-don't know). First, I started to feel very hot. Everybody looked comfortable, but I wasn't. Then, I started to freak out because I felt like I was about to melt (or was I having first time hot flashes? :lol: OMG! I just couldn't take it. I was about to burst out of there running, until son grab hand & said: Ma, calm down. Think cool. I did & It worked. I started to enjoy it & I was sweating so heavily, In head I thought I lost 10 lbs :lol:. Crazy, but I started to feel body shrink. I know that's not possible, but that's how mind works. Great! right? :lol:. 15 minutes later, I showered and went home. I loved this experince so much, I'm thinking about a short term membership. They offered us one without a contract. Will have the talk with hubby tomorrow. He didn't have a good day today :(. schedule:

Wednesday, alarm didn't go off & I we were VERY late for everything. Shame on me! I didn't charge the phone & it died. May it's soul rest in peace :lol:. Joke aside, it was horrible. It threw off entire schedule. So, no workout in the morning :cry: (dammit!-excuse me :oops:). I pretty much was in a rush-rush all day. Got a call from youngest son asking if we could go to the movies...what? On a schhol night? He told me he was stressed out. So, we did. Watched the book of Eli. Not cup of tea, but it was OK. Honestly, I wanted to watch The lovely bones but son said I'll start crying & that'll stress him even more. So, we didn't. Finally, got home, and watched The biggest looser ( favorite show) & started to workout. Everytime I watch I get pumped & too involved :lol:. Couldn't stop running & jumping :lol:. The show ended & so did workout. Had a shake, showered & talked to youngest son about why he was stressed. PSST! He has a crush on a girl who is taken. By the way, she is 3 years older than him :shock:. I told him she might not be the right one for him at this moment & his answered: "Never give up, giving up is for loosers, that's what you always tell us" :shock: . Why do they always remember advice at the wrong time & for the wrong reasons? :shock:. Had to remind him she's taken & we don't take what doesn't belong to us. Thursday, It looked beautiful. Snowy, not that cold & no wind... kind of romantic day. Took son to school & came back home to make breakfast. An hour later, I worked on upper body. Took 8lbs. weights an did 3 sets of 10 on chest fly, shoulder press, chest press, bicep curls, side plank & shoulder press w/ tricep combination. arms were sore. I also did the 6 minutes abs video & finished w/ 10 minute HIIT jumping. Felt tired but pumped. In the afternoon, friend & I went out to lunch again. Guess where? Subway. This time, I had a salad. It was pretty good. friend ordered the same thing. She wants to loose weight & she wants me to help her :shock:. I don't think I'm informed enough to do so, but I told her I'll give her the few changes I made (food wise) & suggested to start a journal & to visit shapefit site. I showed her mine (not every page). I wrote some very personal things in journal that are not to be shared, but I showed her the things like: food log, exercises, "hot topic" (what I did, how I felt, if I pooped :oops: ( I used to have that problem), cheat foods & why & weather. She loved it! She said she hasn't had a diary since she was 11. She also loved the fact that mine is a black notebook w/ heart full of rhinestones (I made it-love crafts) & in each page I have a positive confirmation/quote/saying & a receipe. You know, sometimes I get a little discourage when I see tummy, so I write things like: your stretch marks are getting better...Your back rolls are less :lol:. She liked it so much I took her to the $.99 store and bought her one...in pink (her favorite color). I also promised to lend her walking video (she hasn't exercised since high school). I think the walking is a start. Right? I hope she stays motivated. Anyways, after dinner, I decided to do a little indoor running. I set the alarm for 10 minutes & OMG! I kept running! I ran 25 minutes. I also did 15 minutes HIIT jumping :shock:. Confession: puked a little :oops:. I did workout right after dinner...forgot (how stupid is that?). Oh well, learned lesson...again :lol:. schedule:
Breakfast: Oatmeal w/ egg white & 1 small orange (cold & sweet)
Workout: Upper body, 6 minutes abs video & HIIT jumping
Snack: 1/2 protein shake
Lunch: Subway salad w/ bottle of water & slices of apple
Snack: small pack of mixed nuts w/ raisins & 1 cup of water
Dinner: 1/2 cup of brown rice, 3 oz grilled steak & 1 cup of broccol & small salad- 1 bottle of water
Workout: running & HIIT jumping
The day was very good. I'm glad the snow showers are over!
Friday, OMG! It was so cold nose almost froze. Couldn't feel fingers & I had 2 pair of gloves. BRUTAL! I decided to work on legs. Different kind of squats w/ weights. I also worked on hamstring- new favorite workout besides squats. I can feel but cheeks stronger :D. I didn't do lunges, knees are not that strong. After dinner, I did 25 minutes of running & the cardioke video w/ Billy Blanks jr. It's fun!!I also got singing on. Hope nobody's hearing got damaged in the process :lol:. Later, will do a little dancing...for hubby :lol:. To lift him up (very hard day today :()

Workout: running & cardioke (FUN!) & drank bottle of water
Tomorrow: Cardio & abs! Have to spend time w/ TUMMY :lol:.

Saturday, Since it was freezing, I decided to do 1 mile walking video. It has knees up, kick backs, side steps & front kicks. This time, I decided to add weights to walk (10 lbs each hand :D) & did a 1/2 squat with every side step. I wanted to "challenge" myself. Well guess what? I did & on top, I ran for 20 minutes. I felt so proud of myself...I also did the HIIT Jumping & 6 minutes abs video. That happened after lunch. You know, with this weather, I didn't feel like getting up so early to exercise. Afterwards, I showered and went food shopping by myself. Confession: Had a mocha on way. It was heavenly. I added the protein powder to it...DELICIOSO!!! Just thinking about it makes me drool :lol:. Hmmmm, I think I'm addicted. A few hours later (it was crowded), picked up family & headed to the bowling alley. Love bowling! I kinda suck, but always have fun. Like the music & the vibe. This time, I was doing good. I was shocked. Final score: 120 points :shock:. First time in years I reach 100 :lol:. It's about time :wink:. schedule went like this:
Breakfast: specialty omellete w/ 1 whole wheat toast, small coffee w/ skim milk & 1 sweet & low & 1/2 apple
Lay in bed for a few
Snack: Strawberries w/ low fat chedar cheese & water
Lunch: Grilled chicken fajita w/ swiss cheese, side salad, 1 small orange & 1 bottle of water
Workout: Walking video, abs video & HIIT jumping & drank 1 bottle of water
Went food shopping & bowling (It counts as exercise too...right? :wink:)
Dinner: 3oz well done steak w/ veggies & salad & 1 cup of fresh lemonade (YUMM)
Sunday, day off! Well, not really. It's cleaning day at house. Lots of moving, bending, stretching...you get the idea. Ate very light. Mostly fruits, because wasn't feeling good. Maybe the weather? Watched a movie: UP! I know, but I love kids movies. Good day.
Monday, got up early but couldn't work out. V ery, Very busy. Decided to leave the exercise for after dinner & I did. Today, I worked on legs & abs. Did 3 sets of 10 (w/ 10lbs weights) of hamstrings, squats, lunges (ouch :() & side planks. I had a great idea: to use resistance bands to do leg press, abductor & adductor moves. It worked! For abs I did the 1 on 1 core video w/ jackie (w/ weights) WOW, still burning. Also did 20 minutes running & HIIT jumping. schedule went like this:
Breakfast: 1/2 multigrain bagel from dunkin donuts w/ low fat cream cheese & small coffee w/ skim milk (was in a hurry)
Snack: 1 pack of mixed nuts w/ raisins & 1/2 apple & 1 cup of water
Lunch: Veggie burger w/ whole wheat toast & Iced tea w/ sweet & low & side salad
Snack: 1 orange
Dinner: 1/2 cup of brown rice, 3 oz grilled salmon & salad (lettuce, tomatoes, canellini beans, olives & avocado) w/ 1 bottle of water
Workout: Legs, abs, running & jumping
Tomorrow: Arms & abs. Traded videos with friend (who started the diet). I lend her Jillian Michaels' video & she lend me Kendra's workout video (Girls next door-Playboy). I like her. Used to watch the show. She's very funny. Took a peak at it. It looks brutal! Like it. Will see how long I last & if I can finish it :lol:. That'll be cardio...hopefully :oops:

Smart move. You could train when you normally would so you took the next best option instead of doing nothing. That's the kind of sensible thinking that can help people to achieve physically :).

Thanks Guys! I'm trying the best I can to find new & exciting ways to workout. This weather is not helping me. But, I have to deal with it one way or another. This morning I worked on arm & abs. Did 3 sets of 10 w/ 10lbs weights (dips, bicep curls, shoulder press & shoulder press extending into a a "v" , tricep curls, planks & the dreaded pushups. OMG! I have a big problem. I'm not good w/ the pushups :oops:. I suck big time! I love planks but can't do/stand pushups. That's "February goal". To do 10 real pushups without problems. Right now their faux pushups :lol: :oops:. For abs, I did 20 of each (abs crunches, bicycle, mountain climbers, crunches w/ 90 degree angle knees, knees bend crunches & touching ankles side to side (obliques) & rotary twist w/ a broom :lol:. I also did burpees. After the arms & abs, I decided to do 5 sets of 100 jumping jacks. During lunch time, friend & I went to lunch. She showed me her journal & it looks good & pretty. She had an exercise & food log, her moods, an achievement & if she pooped or not...just like in journal :lol:. Mine has more stuff (like personal things, confessions, disappointments & goals...) but they look similar. After lunch, we walked around the mall for 20 minutes & then we left. In the evening, I wanted to do Kendra's video, but youngest son wanted to do Tae bo with me. He had just finished watching a Karate movie & was having a "Ninja moment". Trust me, It all diappeared when Billy Blanks yelled: "Are you ready". He did 2 minutes of it & he was gone...like the wind :lol:. Me, I was stuck. Once I start something, I have to finish it or I feel guilty & can't sleep. Need beauty sleep :D. When the video was over, I was about to hit the sack. But first, I had to take a shower & write on journal. And, here I am...
Breakfast: Cream of wheat w/ egg white & 1 apple
Workout: arms, abs & jumping jacks-drank 1 bottle of water
Snack: pineapple & cottage cheese & 1 cup of water
Lunch: Big chef salad w/ bottle of water
Snack: 1 orange w/ string cheese & 1 cup of water
Dinner: 1/2 cup brown rice w/ 3 oz grilled chicken w/ veggies stir fry, small side salad & 1 bottle of water
Workout: Tae bo :twisted: (wanted to do Kendra's video). Oh well, there is always tomorrow :D.
