Firming up the "girls"
That's right, how can I ensure that DDD's stay firm as I lose weight? I'm worried about them "deflating" as I've heard from friends who have lost a significant about of weight that they do that. Do chest exercises work? If so how much weight should I use and what machines and how many reps etc?
Re: Firming up the "girls"
The "girls" are comprised of mostly fat, so unfortunately, when you reduce overall body fat, your gonna lose them too. We cannot spot reduce, so you will lose some breast size along with overall body fat. As women age our dense breast tissue begins to get replaced with more fatty breast tissue, hence the boobs down to your knees jokes when you hit menopause. The only way to make those babies stay up and perky is a breast lift. The main chest muscles involved in chest exercises are the pectoralis major and minor. A few exercises you can do for better development of these muscles are chest presses, dumbell flyes, bench presses. Weight amount depends on the individual and proper form as with any exercise is crucial avoiding risk of injury. Hope this helps
