i need help for buying a treadmill!!!

hey everyone, the shapefit community. im planning to buy a treadmill. i know its better to run outside but i have reasons =]. the kind of treadmill im looking for is one:
1. that can be long lasting because im willing to run 5 miles everyday at a 6-7 minute mile pace
2. a quiet one, i dont want anything TOO noisy
3. it needs to have speed(for ex 10mph), time(how long ive been running) and distance(how many laps i just ran) indicators. i really dont care about how many calories burned or heart rate indicators or any additional things like an ipod holder, or a water bottle holder.
4. a stable tread as in it wont be bouncing off or anything(sounds weird but a friend told me it can happen) and it has to be comfortable as in it wont put any hard impact on joints, knees, or ankles.
5. im looking for one with a price range of $400-$600
6. that is not a manual treadmill

I already read a guide on how to find the one treadmill the buyer would want to buy i had trouble with it so if anyone can help me, i would greatly appreciate it.

Keep in mind that to have the qualities you are searching for in a treadmill, like a quiet motor, a cushioned deck, a stable tread, motorized, etc., usually cost upwards of $1000 or more. There are treadmills out there in your price range, but you have to be careful of the quality and durability. Make sure it has a belt & motor warranty of at least 2 years. Try to find one with a running surface of at least 18 to 20" wide & 50 to 60" long. The more wear and tear you plan to put on one, the more quality you need. You don't want to have to be replacing one every year or so.
I bought a treadmill once at a major dept. store chain in the price range you mention, and within months, the tread would slide over to the side & I would have to manually roll it back to correct position, the belt would slip while I was running and it was literally falling apart around me, screws falling out, etc.
The treadmill I own now is a Reebok RX 4000 and I bought it used from a friend - 9 years ago and it is still going strong! So, you're best bet is to research online and visit some Specialty Fitness stores that specialize in exercise equipment. You might find some discount or closeout specials online.

I am in total agreement with Fitoverforty. You really need to consider that some treadmills are better suited to walking and light jogging and some are meant to take the abuse of an avid runner. Fitoverforty is right on about watching the size of the running deck especially if you are a runner. You should also consider built in programs to make sure that you get the challenge you are looking for. I would suggest checking out the treadmills from Sole Fitness. They get excellent reviews on review sites across the board and are priced very well for what you get. You are going to need to look in the $1000 and up range to get the quality you are looking for so consider waiting until you can get something of good quality. I got a Sole Treadmill for parents and like it so much I plan to buy one for myself for birthday this year.

Plus sometimes it might be raining heavily, Hailstoning, sleeting, or a bit frosty or slightly icy, depnding on the time of year.
