You cant turn fat into muscle directly
You can burn off fat in the exercises that help build muscles

but you do need protein....
this comes in food and shakes that if not burned off turns to fat

not true at all in terms of needing to be fat. but generally, people who are on the heavier side tend to be stronger (from carrying all that weight around), letting them lift more and in turn gain muscle. but in no way do you need to have fat to build muscle, u just need to eat just enough to add pure muscle, altho most generally gain fat with the muscle

interesting thing to try if your fat...measure your arm flexed than measure it relaxed but in the same position...i bet your arm is the same size...the point, you can't flex fat only muscle

I imagine for anyone morbedly obese, trying that Flex test, would just make the Tricep Area droop a bit more, when flexed.

Fat doesn't convert to muscle nor does muscle convert to Fat.

Only thing you might be confused by is when you gain strength, but weight stays the same, which could well be muscle weight replacing fat weight, and therefore keeping weight static.

In that instance you're still getting a better muscle to fat ratio, so that's okay, and doesn't mean you're screwing up in some way.
