Ditch the energy bars. They are full of sugar and bad calories. Protein bars are ok but still not as good as a shake. I have never known anyone to have to eat part way through a workout. Your suppose to be tired that why its called working out.

What about fruits before you workout? and protein shake after you work out??
A lot of bars if you look at the nutrition facts contains a bunch of sugar....
If I had to pick out of those 2... i would pick the one with less sugar and more in protein (That's just me tho)

Oh yeah.. GOOD JOB for the 50lbs lost... KEEP IT UP!!!

If I was you I would have a shake after you workout. But if you have no energy to workout you might want to eat the protine bar or someting before you hit the gym tio give you some gas in the tank.

I forgot to say awesome job with the 50 pounds! thats someting to be proud of for sure
