Can someone help me out with making a meal plan ??

Post by xogabszbabyy »

Hello everyone, namee is Gabriellee :D and I am very new to this so I am asking for alot of help lol.
I was wondering if anyone could help me make a meal plan to reach goal of 135 pounds.
I have a somewhat hard to work around schedule lol. I go to school from I eat breakfast at around 6:30 a.m., lunch isnt until 11:50-12pm, and next meal is at 3pm, after that i wont eat until maybe 10pm (cereal) because I come out of work late. Can someone help me create a meal plan or suggest what foods i should eat with this schedule ? Also, if I do get to eat during break, I will eat at around 7:30 and the thing is I work in a mall ( I am a student working a part time job) so its hard for me to eat healthy will all the fast food around me. :?

Hello Gabriellee, welcome. :D

I'm definitely no expert on meal plans, but a few suggestions I could give you would be:
For breakfast a bowl of oatmeal fresh fruit added with some lean turkey sausage, or scrambled eggs (some folks like to do egg whites) and lean turkey sausage
Lunch: grilled chicken breast with a big salad, LF cottage cheese or plain greek yogurt with some fresh fruit added for taste
3:00 meal: Whole wheat wrap with lean deli sliced ham or turkey filled with fresh veggies, or have the veggies on the side with a bit of LF or FF dip
10:00 meal: Try not to have cereal this late...the carbs are better eaten earlier in the day. How 'bout a salad with lots of romaine lettuce, veggies, LF or FF cottage cheese and a protein source like chicken, fish, deli meat. LF greek yogurt with a dab of all natural peanut butter.

The best plan is to try to have 6 small meals throughout the day. I know that is hard with your work and school schedule.
try to plan ahead and bring meals with you to work and school if possible. Stay away from processed packaged snacks and food - they are always full of sugar and sodium. Drink lots of water throughout the day - stay away from sodas (even diet ones). I like to brew and drink iced green tea. I use Stevia sweetener instead of sugar.
I am sure there are TONS more and better ideas out there for you, and I know there are others here who can better explain and help you - just read through the forums to see what others are eating and doing, that's what always helps me to get ideas. :D
Good luck!

Hey Gabriellee,
I am also trying to lose weight and if there is a McDonalds in that mall, you can always order their caesar salad with grilled chicken. (It's Delicious! and only about 400 calories.) I also go to school at the same times as you.
This is usually what i eat every day.
Breakfast:
1/2 Whole wheat Bagel, 1/2 Cottage cheese, or sometimes i would spread some cream cheese on bagel instead of cottage cheese.
Lunch:
Depending on where i go,
Panera Bread: Ill get a chicken ceasar salad with an apple for a side, and water. around 500 cals.
Noodles & Co: Small Penne Rosa, Pad Thai, or Indonesian Peanut Sautee 300-500 cals
Subway: 6 inch turkey on whole wheat with Light Mayo or other special sauce, Lots of veggies. Nothing on the side, Water.
Chipotle: Small Side Salad and 1 soft taco with no cheese and light sour cream, with black beans, corn salsa, tomato salsa, and maybe a little guac
Really, you can eat small kid side things, and try and avoid white breads, tortillas, etc . Avoid processed foods, and drink a glass of water before you eat to make you feel more full.
Dinner:
Grilled chicken with brown rice, or yummy low sodium, low fat soups.
Desert:
1 cup Fat Free (Eating Right Brand) Cherry Chocolate Chip Frozen Yogurt (Add other fresh fruit) in a cup.

I hope I helped, if you want more advice, just go to page, add me as a friend and send me a message. I used to be really fit, until i got sick and had to take many medications, so i know what you need to lose weight.
Oh and the only way you can lose weight more quickly is exercise.
Good Luck!
