With Fear and Trepidation

Post by phsearle »

I was an actrive member last summer and fell off the horse and then the horse kicked me and kicked me till will was well and truely broken.

Long story short I gained back the 65 pounds I lost with reinforcements

So here I am a little embarassed but determined to get rid of the weight again.

I can't go to the gym as I have no transportation but I can walk and use WII fit plus so here we go again

With Fear and Trepidation?? You don't need to be even a little embarrassed. Weight loss is a personal journey. Were just here for your support!! Believe me, I would have been kicked off here long ago, if there were a weight loss requirement to be on the forum.

Glad to see you back, Good luck!

Don't dwell on the past and the waht if's bud, just focus on going forward and sticking to the task :).

Your worth it, but you just need to remember how much, because it's your life and nobody elses and if you die of weight related issues in 20 years, 99.9999% of everyone else on the planet, will be unnaffected personally and just carry on as normal, but you deserve to have a long happy life and this is where it starts happening for you :).

We're here to help not to judge or criticise and I don't care about what you could or should have done in the past, to make what you tried to do last and keep on benefitting you, I only care that you're going to be able to get things back on track and do what's best for you.

Some people may fail, but they don't fail on here, thye are probably people that stopped using the site and failed in the future. Some people may feel like they're failing, but they persevere, because we never give up on them and I have never seen anyone come here and publicy say I'm a failure, goodbye and just leave.

So don't justify why you should come here, or should be allowed to come here, because you've been here before and you've respected this community and its members, so that's why we will ALWAYS be here for you when we can be and unless you turn your back on us, or become a serious disrespect merchant, we won't intentionally disrespect or turn our backs on you :).

GOOD LUCK.

2 weks in and some early success.......bsides the fact that I love food network lol. I have lost 8 pounds eating 4-5 times a day consuming 1750-2250 calories a day.

I log all foods and work out 3 times a week (I know it should be more but give me time)

So things are going in the right direction.....thanks to those who are pulling for me I appreciate it.

That's great Paul! 8 pounds in two weeks is a lot! Your eating a lot of calories too.

That's a pretty relative measure. His weight is 290 lbs so 1750 to 2250 calories is certainly not a lot for his body. At his weight using the ShapeFit calculator, maintenance calories alone while working out 3 times/week is 3415 so his calories may even be a bit low!
