Minors on Fit Tracker

I know we shouldn't discriminate...but why are there so many minors on this website? Is this site making sure that there isn't anything funny going on? Some picture are a bit provocative. As much as we all wish we lived in a "safe" world we do not. Sadly, there are many sick people out there. As a mom, I hope that whoever is running these sights are making sure that these minors are not being harassed in any way shape or form.

If there are minors reading this post, be VERY careful who you friend, the pictures and posts.

i know I've seen his posts to the ladies about being careful...I just worry about kids. Didn't know if there was stricter guidlines for them. Some kids might think they're talking to other kids when in fact it could be some sick individual.

I think it is a legitmate concern just like facebook. Like Allison said we don't show our last names and addresses, etc. I think really it all comes down to parental supervision. nephew and niece are on facebook but their parents know their passwords to their accounts and help them with privacy, etc.

I understand what you’re saying about kids and meeting/socializing with online people. However, I personally feel this site is pretty much regulated than other sites (ex: facebook, myspace, Friendster, etc... )

This site is well monitored, we don't allow anything to happen to that people feel uncomfortable with and if they do, they have our support to deal with it.

Though people must realise that due ot time constraints, peoples lifestyles and the fact we're only human we can't guarantee as prompt and as error free handling of peoples concerns or worries as possible 100% of the time.

For that I will not apologise.

We are always and always will be pro the user and will work to ensure members feel happy, secure and protected and if they aren't, we will work with them to improve things for all concerned, to protect them and give good members the kind of user experience they deserve .

Minors and / or their seniors need not be concerned .
