Sore vs. tense

Sore vs. tense
I've been working out for a little while now...but Im not sure about the muscle fatigue I'm feeling in arms after workout. Its not the normal sore burning... muscles seem to be tight and tense instead. Is this normal?

I always start with a 10 minute warm-up, then I do a 4 minute stretch, and at the end of the workout I stretch for another 5 minutes. It is very important! I never used to like to stretch when I was younger----but I am telling you it makes a difference!!
