Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
Hello, how are you guys and girls doing?
I'd like to know if anyone here has tried a fat burner called Lipo 6. If yes and if possible, post your results here as well, after you have used this product. I just bought it and started using, wether I'm exercising or not.
Also any tips on weight loss are more than welcome, I'm 6'1 and currently weight is 275lbs. I'm planning to burn down 80 lbs and get back to normal weight over this year. Is seven months enough? For the moment I don't really plan on building up muscles nor care if I lose a bit over the weight loss procedure. I currently lift weights 3 days a week and do cardio everyday. I use the stationary bike and swim as well. weight lifting is not really intense and I do reps at a moderate-to-fast speed. Anyway, I'm a first timer on this incredible website and I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there good to see you here
.
I want to tell you first and foremost to be proud of yourself. It takes a bit of courage and heart to take that first step, by admitting you need to change, then more of the same to start acting on it, so you have already done some great things to improve your life and I want you to be proud of yourself, because you should be. This is a big mans decision, so well done fella, for recognising that you DO have a lot of self worth and you DO deserve to have a better quality of life
.
Here's a really good starting tip for weight loss. Please don't potentially screw your body up with Lipovarin 6. Don't even finish them and then swear off them, just get whatever is left binned
. Trust me, those products are pretty much useless if they're herbal and dangerous if they're chemical.
You can check the Medicinenet site and you should be able to find the old reports about Hydroxycut Hardcore and how it killed people.
I believe weight loss has, nor never will be found in a capsule. The reverse of what caused your weight gain will do that and unless you took pills full of bad fat for years, then taking fat burners means you're doing the opposite to something, that you never did in the first place.
Basically if you're body doesn't need pills to get fat, it doesn't need them to lose Fat.
The good news is the timeframe you are looking at, is perfectly feasible to lose the 80lbs so don't worry about that
.
I would not do Cardio everyday though, because your body does need to rest. I would say if you're fairly new to weights, stick with a Total Body Workout like most beginners do. Same basic format as for most people, working each muscle group with 2 sets a session, 8-10 reps a set and using basic moves, like Squats, Bent over Rows, Deadlifts etc etc.
You can incorporate Cardio in, which you are doing. Swimming is okay, but due to the fact it does cause resistance of some kind, it may be a little fatiguing on the muscles, so certainly do it on non-weights days.
To stop it becoming adaptive, I.E. your body gets used to it, causing some loss of efficacy, you do have options.
1. Change the speed and / or stroke per length / width
2. Change the speed and / or stroke per session.
3. Change the speed and / or stroke per week.
If however you choose to do Cardio on electronic equipment, I'd suggest a low level interval setting, to fluctuate the heart rate and not allow for possible adaption by the body. This should help retain efficacy of effects, that steady state may not. Over time, say every 3-4 weeks, add another level to the interval setting, so you might start at level 1 or 2, then progress to level 3 after 3-4 weeks; you get the idea.
You'll only need about 30 minutes of that max.
Adding the weights in, you could get a weekly schedule that looks like this.
Day 1. Weights
Day 2. Cardio
Day 3. Weights
Day 4. Day off
Day 5. Cardio
Day 6. Weights
Day 7. Day off.
This keeps the off days seperate and prevents you training for more than 3 days on the spin.
As for diet I would need to know more, I.E. what meals you eat and what times you eat them, but for now, keep believing and don't let anyone or anything put you off okay. We will be here for you for as long as you keep letting us
.
Good luck, chin up and no worries okay. You've just started your life over again, so let the enormity of the decision sink in, enjoy it and then use it to fuel your fire okay, because this is where you REALLY start to live
.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
Thank you so much for replying to thread.
I've already lost 6 lbs over these past days. I'm not totally new to weight lifting nor ever been hardcore about it either, I used to do it often when I trained Jiu-Jitsu and some other sports back when I had ideal weight. I've read your entire post and I found it amazing, even though I'm a little bit stubborn about not doing cardios everyday since they make me feel a lot better all around, but I'll try to follow your advices as much as I can and I'm eternally grateful for the tips.
I'mma post here current training/cardio schedule: Considering I'm weight lifting only about 2-3 days a week.
Monday: 30 minutes weight lifting - Back/Biceps -- Cardio - 45 minutes swimming/ front crawl
Tuesday: Stationary Bike for 30 minutes and 45 minutes swimming/ chest
Wedenesday: 30 minutes weight lifting - Shoulder/Legs -- Cardio - 45 minutes swimming/ back
Thursday: Elliptical Machine for 20 minutes and 45 minutes swimming/ butterfly
Friday: 30 minutes weight lifting - Chest/Triceps -- Cardio - 45 minutes swimming/ front crawl
Since favorite swimming style is front crawl, I usually train it more often than the others
so sometimes I might just swim crawl all days of the week.
As for diet, I naturally can't eat more than 3/4x a day or I get stomach sick, I start the day like this:
Morning: Protein shake (w/ water) and a fruit like an orange or green apple.
Lunch: Chicken breast and mixed veggies (no dressing) salad: carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, artichoke and brocoli.
Noon snack: I try to vary as much, but is usually a protein shake like in the morning, no fruit though.
Dinner: I usually eat dinner around 18:30/19:00. Bowl of veggies (beetroot, carrots and tomatoes most of time) and some lean meat or chicken breast.
Noon snack: Sometimes an energy bar, rye bread/brown bread.
Protein shake: Whey Isolate or Oat/Soy (powdered) with water and strawberries or even sometimes a herbalife shake. I never add milk, always water. I also drink 1 and 1/2 gallons of water daily.
As for Lipo6, I think is not the same you mentioned (Lipovarin). Surprisingly it did made some good effects such as I have much more energy during the morning, still I'm just taking as a "small" help to get me going. I know that no meds will ever do all the work alone without adding a good diet and exercises.
Well, so far I haven't felt any sort of fatigue I'm not too used to weight lifting but I've been practicing sports entire life even though now I'm overweight body is kinda resilient to cardio exercises but I promise I'll keep doing on a moderate beat.
I'll keep this thread updated weekly, if that's ok. Posting results and anything related to journey for weight loss.
Thanks again for your useful advices, I'll add everything to training methods to improve it as much as possible.
Keep up the good work guys and have a great week.
Leo.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
Diet doesn't look too bad. I'd still suggest the Lipovarin should go. The changes you may have made and energy increases mentioned, could be solely down to other things like diet changes, exercise changes, more water etc etc.
This means you will not be able to isolate the effects of Lipovarin. Lipovarin may be doing nothing and you will never know, unless you already did the things you say you are doing, to train, eat and drink and just started taking pills.
They may at some point cause you an issue, but if they do you will not know until it happens.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
Updating:
Added one more meal to diet, a snack in the middle of morning. Usually a protein bar or some fruit, since i'm kind of picky with fruits is usually a green apple, banana, papaya or grapes. Any recommendations on this one are welcome and appreciated.
Time working out (weights and cardio): Going to 3 weeks.
Weight lost: 9 lbs.
Is this a good result or am I doing it too "fast" I'm pretty much doing exercises as you suggested, I traded week/daily swimming with elliptical trainer so now train should be looking like this
1 to 6 (gyms never work on sunday so I just rest)
1: weights - 20 to 30 minutes on elliptical
2: swim
3: weights - no cardio or a 20-30 minutes walk
4: rest
5: swim
6: weights - 30-45 minutes elliptical
7: rest
as time goes, i think is best to keep changing this as well as diet, but since not too long has passed, i'm sticking to this. or should i change it right away:
thanks in advance and have a great week.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
9lbs in 3 weeks is not hideous no. Some people experience some high losses for around 2-3 weeks, that then settle down into a regular pattern.
This is often down to losing excess water as part of the weight.
One reason for this would likely be the reduction of Salt in your diet, as excess Salt can cause water retention and Edema, (excess fluid buildup in the legs).
The big problem would be if you'd lost 9lbs in a week and continued to do that, as that would look like crash dieting.
According to your weight stats, you're around 122 kg's, (268.2 lbs). Is this an amended stat, or the one you added when you joined?

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
First, sorry for taking so long to update thread.
About the weight, it was an updated weight stats. I'm currently 119.6kgs.
Not too bad in opinion, what do you think? I'm completely into the training schedule you suggested now, on cardio days, I was thinking of buying an elliptical machine, so i could do it at home, but is not an easy equipement to get hands on (Price here + not many places around sell it)
Main problem is night meals (past 6 p.m) I try to vary as much between;
Chicken breast
Tuna
Lean meat
Sandwiches (chicken, turkey, tuna)
Veggies.
Day 1. Weights -- Meals here are like: Breakfast, Mid morning snack, Lunch, Mid noon snack and Dinner (which is around 7 or 8 p.m)
Day 2. Cardio -- Like day 1, except on cardios day only, I have dinner at 6:30 p.m max
Day 3. Weights
Day 4. Day off -- Same, but I low a bit on carbs, usually have them during morning time and lunch.
Day 5. Cardio
Day 6. Weights
Day 7. Day off.
I rarely (pretty much ever) eat anything sweet, I don't like pizza either. If i crave for something once in a while (every 2/3 weeks) it would be hamburgers, but always adding more stuff like lettuce and tomatoes.
Gonna need some serious advices when time for a diet change comes, lol.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
Also, got rid of the Lipo 6, it did gave me some really good results, but since I got track of diet and exercises for now, I don't think I really need it anymore. Instead I exchanged it for Green Tea, as for the real tea thing or the extract EGCG pills from manipulation pharms.
Again, I'm not an expert, but I really do recommend Green Tea for a boost. About supplements, curiosity is always a plus, to keep you away from dangerous stuff, or to take benefical products. I usually use Whey Isolate.
Some of friends who work out with me told me about this one possibly legit fat burner called Fenphedra, some of them have lost some serious weight, but I read about it and it didn't look very safe to use. Any opinions on the overall use of this product?

Aye and thanks again Boss Man, for your always helpful tips.
I think I'll be able to reach goal by december. Gonna update thread weekly now, every small change is important, just to keep you guys informed about journey
I'll be looking for alternate ways for cardios, options are: Muay Thai, Boxing, Elliptical, Swimming, Jiu-Jitsu. Anything else for a recommendation?

Fenphedra. Not one I'm completely familiar with, but I don't need to be. stance on such products remains absolute.
NO
.
The people who used it can claim results on it, but they're deluding themselves to think it worked to any great extent.
Reasoning being.
A: Cutting Salt reduces water retention.
B: Starting Cardio reduces Fat.
C: Doing more effective Cardio reduces Fat, when basic Cardio no longer works.
D: Doing weights reduces Fat.
E: Changing weights workouts or intensifying them, reduces Fat, when basic workouts no longer work.
F: Not undereating reduces Fat.
G: Introducing an effective diet plan reduces Fat.
H: Cutting back or abstaining on Alcoholic drinks reduces Fat.
Start doing any of these weight reducing methods, then claim some pointless pills lost you weight and you'll be deluding yourself.
You don't think you can accurately assess a persons ability to lose weight on pills, until you isolate their affects.
2 ways to do this.
1. Lose some weight, then regain the weight on purpose, then try to lose it again with some pills as well.
2. Give overweight people pills, but don't make them or encourage them to change any aspect of their lifestyle, except doing that. Then monitor them for a few weeks to ascertain the physiological effects exerted..
These people you mentioned, probably did at least one of any of the listed A - H things, so their claims of weight loss on pills become invalid, because there's at least one more likely reason for the change.
If they didn't make any changes, beyond those originally implemented, those claims are still invalid, because they may have needed to refine their diet, Cardio or weights, to rekindle the weight loss that stopped happening. That means the pills became a substitute to such changes and these people might find they stop using the pills and gain weight again, because things they needed to change didn't and without the pills to hide that potential fact, the truth will out after stopping the pills.
The truth about not making other changes, causing weight regain.
There is plenty of logic about not taking pills for weight loss, but I've never seen any logic regards taking them.

The truth about not making other changes, causing weight regain.
There is plenty of logic about not taking pills for weight loss, but I've never seen any logic regards taking them.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
I totally agree, makes perfect sense too. That is why I got rid of what was left of Lipo 6 bottle. If anything, all I'm drinking now except for water is Green Tea, works fine for me and got way more benefits than pills.
Other than that, I think I'm on the right path, at least for now. Indoors I'll use elliptical machine, for cardios. Alternating with Boxing, Muay Thai or some other sport, during the week so I don't get bored easily and be always exercising something on a "different" way. When time comes for a diet change and training change, I'll read as much as possible and gather most info I can, best way imo. Other than that, I'll keep this thread updated with only results from now on, no more crappy pill talk, haha. I was just kinda worried about friends, but hey, their money, even if I say they probably will just ignore.
Thanks again and have a nice weekend. I'm waiting a little bit more, to post some a "Before/After" photos, so I can even get a better tracking of results. See ya soon.

Re: Fat Burner (Lipo 6) - Cardios+WeightLifting
40 days = 17 lbs gone.
Results so far. Besides Whey Protein, is there anything i should add? Something like I would take daily or before/after training (weights only or cardio as well)?
Also, sometimes I eat egg whites at dinner, is this a bad thing? I usually eat 4-6 whites.

No it should be fine to do that.
