Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
For gain weight fast, the best way to change your eating habits. Eat fruits and vegetables more and eat more protein. Nuts are a very convenient and a healthy snack. Eat very healthy breakfast regularly and do exercise. I think fast weight gain capsules are also useful.and try to void junk food.Junk food is not good for health Because It have too much oil, too much salt, too much sugar and too much fat. We try to avoid take The Junk Food.In the Junk Food There are So Much Citric Acid in this.

If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier.

I have been counting the caloric intake I consume everyday AND the calories burned daily using the tool at http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for calculating caloric consumption by activity. I made a spread sheet that calculates most common activities and food intake.

I have lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks using some HCG drops a friend recommended to me. I recently had a baby and was having a hard time getting and keeping weight off after I quit Bfeeding. The ones I use are here http://www.greenhcg.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
Hi ---
I just wanted to make sure you were losing weight the healthy way as well as adopting a diet plan that is personalized for your body and to supplement your workouts. The problem that can occur by not having a personalized exercise plan is experiencing weight fluctuations; meaning you'll lose the ideal weight loss but then gain those pounds back. I would not suggest just dieting or completely cutting out specific type of foods for a temporary amount of time. Everyone’s body works differently, and honestly what really helps lose weight is keeping track of your exercises, dieting, calorie intake as well as how many calories you're burning. Something like a weight loss calculator will help monitor your personal fitness. I really like the BodyMedia Fit armband. It tracks calories burned during exercise as well as monitor intensity levels during workouts and daily activities (for example, walking around campus during the day). You also get access to their tracking program that allows you to see your progress and where you can make improvements.
Hope you find this useful and wish everyone the best of luck!

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
The best weight loss tip I can suggest is to live a fitness lifestyle. I read this article that showed me that there is no magic diet, but that the "secret" to fat loss is building bigger muscles and living a fitness lifestyle. Here is a link to the article I found: http://www.hawaiianshirtray.com/health- ... lifestyle/
I hope this helps,

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
1. Don’t eat before bed. Sleep uses little fuel and those calories are going to get stored somewhere, since there isn’t much of a chance they’ll be burned. At least two hours should pass between eating and sleeping.
2. Eat Consistently throughout the day. No more than three to four hours should pass between meals. Spacing meals keeps your energy levels constant and prevents ravenous hunger.
3. If you eat carbs eat low-glycemic carbohydrates. Slow-burning carbs, such as beans, yams and whole grains, will keep your blood sugar stable. Sugars found in some fruits, fruit juices, refined and processed foods cause wild fluctuations in insulin. Insulin bursts enhance fat storage plus they can leave you feeling starved and foraging for more to eat.
4. Keep a diet journal. Writing down everything you eat and drink, as well as calculating the calories of each macro nutrient, is the only way to be absolutely sure you stay within your calorie guidelines.
5. Avoid fad diets. If they actually do work, they won’t work for long.
I hope this helped, not just AriBerri, who has probably lost her extra weight since April, but also others looking for tips. I think it would be great if we all shared tips that have worked for us, or that we know have worked for others and gather them all in one thread.

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
The fact is you can never loose weight without exercise. Jogging, walking and swimming are very good exercises and you gaining weight only when you have a sedentary job not moving your body. Exercise is essential part of maintaining weight.
Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
Simply put excercise and diet. As long as you eat less calories than you use then you will lose weight, but just be sensible with this philosophy and don't skip nutrients (this means eat lean meat, fresh veg and fruit and low fat foods while keeping track of your calorie intake and what you "should" be eating to maintain your current weight).
Obviously drinking plenty of water (again be sensible since it's possible to kill yourself by drinking too much) as this helps to flush your body of toxins which are being produced by burning fat instead of readily available products. However, i'd also recommend drinking green tea since this has some nice properties, slightly increases metabolism and will help to flush out toxins (I also highly recommend this for those with high blood pressure too).
The usual tips also apply:
- eat regularly throughout the day; smaller meals more frequently
- eat a relatively large complex carb breakfast to kick your metabolism into gear (skipping breakfast is the worst thing you can possibly do when trying to lose weight)
- try not to eat too late; you don't want those calories absorbed just as your metabolism goes to sleep for the night
- if you do need snacks then opt for healthy options like fruit, small amount of pistachios, sugar free jellies or dry air-popped corn.
The only other thing is willpower. Too many people never lose weight because they starve themselves until they binge eat and snack on all the wrong things. Be disciplined and realise it won't happen overnight...judge yourself after a couple of weeks of being healthy and then reward yourself with a treat so you don't get to the binge stage.
Good luck

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
As good friend once said, losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise.
But of course I think in the end it all depends on your mindset. If you are committed to something results will appear eventually. Just don't expect instant results and continually work towards your goal.

Re: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS?
There are plenty of ways to loose weight and stay healthy without taking pills and supplements. Once you set your goal, start by implementing a proper fitness and nutrition program.
Fitness: An hour of resistance and cardio exercise most days of the week will work for almost everyone, especially those who've been spending life on the couch.
Nutrition: Loose the sugar and load up on lean proteins and whole grain carbohydrates. Watch your caloric intake - smaller serving sizes, single helpings and eliminate treats are all ways to achieve this goal.
One of the more important things you can do for your health and well-being is eat a nutrious breakfast. This will fuel your body to make it through the day.
When you eat your biggest meal at night, you're letting all that fat and all those calories sit in your body while you sleep. If you make your biggest meal an AM meal, you have all day to burn the calories - thus leading to the drop in weight.
Remember the saying, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." It's a well known saying for a reason... because it truly is. Even if you don't have much time, some whole wheat carbohydrates and plenty of lean protein is essential to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
