shins are sore, no doubt from all of the walking yesterday. So tonight I will have to stay off of the treadmill. I will hopefully do upper body workout and then the elliptical.

I'm not really sure - I think they will be in Canada for about a week or two total (including the way back). They aren't in any rush so I am sure they will take their time - aunt and uncle went with.musculArgirl2 wrote:What a nice trip! Sounds like a fun time. How long does it take to get there?
Be proud of yourself, because I'm proud of you. This shows progression in mental and emotional ways too, not just physical.feelin-great wrote:I normally would have just skipped the workout altogether after something like that, because that is what I always did. But this time I started to go home and ended up turning around and going to the gym anyways
Don't feel bad about doing what works for you or you feel comfortable with. the advice is heartfelt but like you said do what works for you. I think you should just do what you enjoy for now while you don't have time to do everything. You enjoy running and cardio and you lost quite a bit of weight last year so maybe do that. and like you said you will try to do weights on the weekend.feelin-great wrote: now I just need to do what I know works for me.
Oh girl..I know exactly how you feel, and I understand. I have been there, am there now, pretty much have been there for 2 years. I have done the exact same thing with the eating badly, then feeling horrible about that, I've stood on the weight scale in tears after working so hard and then not seeing a loss. Let me share with you what I have learned through all of it:feelin-great wrote:Last night I was so stressed out about it I started thinking what's the point in working out so hard and wasting time when nothing is changing. So I sat down and ate about 1,000 calories. And then I was so stressed about doing that that I started crying
Think about that for a minute (geez, i'm starting to sound like Brentfeelin-great wrote:I don't have the extra time to waste on working out if nothing changes
Yes, Joc, do whatever you feel the least stressed about, whatever you enjoy, whatever at this point you feel will keep you going - do it! Just don't give up - what will that do but make you feel worse, right? Giving up is not an option.feelin-great wrote:Once I start seeing results I will feel better and then I will add the weights back in, but now I just need to do what I know works for me.
