Honestly i weighed myself this morning than i made a little trip to the restroom weighed myself again and i gained 6 ounces. :?: Don't get too caught up in it. Just keep doing what your doing, stay positive the weight will come off. :D

It seems like your eating more than 1450 calories. Just based on what you've posted the last week?
I don't think it's water retention. I've been keeping sodium pretty low. As for the eating more than 1450, I was talking about net calories, like calories taken in minus the calories I burned working out. And since bmr is somewhere around 1800 (according to calculations I did a while ago), I should be having a calorie deficit somewhere around -400 or so which should be enough to get around at least 1.5 pound off each week unless I'm doing math all wrong.

Just stick with it, it will happen. I know it's frustrating though. You should measure yourself too so you can take measurements as well. They say that is a more accurate way of deteriming how your doing anyways.

I did measurements today too, thinking, well, maybe it is just gain in muscle even though I'm not losing any weight. I measured, the only things that have changed in the bust is a little less and waist at the button and at the narrowest point are about an inch smaller. However, thighs are fatter. I don't really know what to make of it. :c

Hahaha thanks, I'm regretting that workout now though, whole body hurts even though I stretched a lot. It hurts to exist let alone move today. Lol.

It was Allison and I that loved the Jillian Michaels DVDs. Lynne and I love the Bob Harper ones as well!

Give it time, the first couple of times your body will fight you, but after that it is a good ache, I promise :D

No, I didn't buy it, there's a section on ExerciseTV on demand that is Jillian Michaels stuff, I did a 45minute metabolism booster (?) one and today I did level one of 30 Day Shred which was 25 minutes. I took it a tiny bit easy today since hamstrings were so tight that jumping made them feel like they were tearing. I've also noticed that all the jumping she integrates into her workout murder feet, but only if I'm wearing shoes, when I'm wearing shoes, I feel a lot of pain and tightness along the bottom of feet, where when I'm barefoot there's not that problem, just a little ache from bouncing on the balls of feet with no cushion. Maybe feet end up hurting because workout shoes are not high quality and they are too big for me lengthwise. I don't know though, and right now, I don't have money for new shoes. Hell, I've had to take loans from mother for school books, and I will have to again to get passport in the works.

The only thing I don't like about her workout videos is that she'll do like three reps and then walk back and point out things on the girls and then walk back to her spot. It gets a bit monotonous with her repeatedly telling me to look at this girl for the modified version and blah blah blah. I'm not a goldfish, memory lasts longer than three seconds, I don't have to be reminded all the time. Lol.

The thing I don't understand though is why between shoulder blades is so sore, none of the motions are terribly new and I've never gotten this terrible of pain before. I'm thinking that maybe since I did actually do some work that I don't do all the time, coupled with how I sleep could have caused the pain in shoulders, legs I understand, any time I do a lot of squats or lunges, legs kill for days.

Do either of you have suggestions on learning to sleep in a different position, because I can tell how I sleep is not good for me. I sleep on stomach with arms in between pillows, it's not uncommon for me to wake up with very sore shoulder joints. However, I cannot seem to fall asleep any other way. I used to sleep on side, but I think I managed to adapt to this new style because of trying to find a way I could lie down to sleep that would keep it darkest whilst Mollie stayed up all night with the light on.

In the realm of good news, I weighed myself again today, and I've lost 2.2 pounds since Monday. I'm thinking that maybe since I don't work out as hard on weekends and schedule of eating gets a little messed up since I have to try to accommodate family members, weigh-ins on Mondays have been a little off as a true measure, I do drink less water on weekends (Actually I drink less in general) so maybe I'm getting water retention from the combination of working less hard, eating a little more sodium, and drinking less water.

Yeah, probably. That or I'll continue to weigh twice a week. I'm not sure which.

I used to be a side sleeper and it caused me all sorts of problems. Then I bought one of those memory foam pillows and I sleep really comfortably on back now - it made a world of difference for me :D

Inever had problems when Iused to sleep on side. However, seeping on back makes me feel awful in the morning. Plus, I'm highly paranoid about snoring. I do everything I can to avoid snoring and sleeping on your back allows your tongue and soft palate to relax backwars into your throat and can cause snoring. Lol. Therefore, I don't sleep on back. Lol.

Try lying in the foetus position. So called because it mimics how a foetus rests in the womb.

You won't elongate your spine fully, because you're in a partially tucked-up position.

It's said to be a good curative option, certainly for minor back ailaments and possibly more serious ones too.
