It's a joke.

It stems in part from people with little ot call their own, thinking that reduced policing gives them a right to instigate civil disobedience and anarchistic tendancies.

Other cities have just seen the fallout of copycats and most of the people involved, are just youths that are pathetic, because unlike some who think a Gun makes them a big man, (which it doesn't, just a stupid little boy with Gun), these people think it makes them a man to have a petrol bomb, which again it doesn't, they are just stupid little boys with a petrol bombs.

It will probably fizzle out soon when it loses steam; especially if the rubber bullets and water cannons get used.

Yeah that's what it seemed like to me too. Just young punks really causing trouble.

Are things back too normal over there now? There hasn't been too much in the news about it over here at all especially not after the first couple of days.

Pretty much yes.

There has just been talk about people reporting their own children to the police and other people being filmed doing bad things, that are going trough a judicial process, or are still wanted and as such, pleas to inform on them if you know them are being made.

What happened intially though is over now, though that's not to say it will never happen again, but now it's about punsihing the guilty and assessing what could be done to prevent or deter, such or similar behaviour in the future.
