what's the best cardio excersice for fat loss.
I am at 293lbs i wanna lose some pounds what do you guys recommend for me to do when it comes to cardio. I hear great things about skipping rope as the best way to lose fat. If you have any suggestions that worked for you please do share.

Try doing interval stuff for 30 minutes a day. It should be non-adaptive, so your body won't get used to it and therefore not affect it's long-term efficacy.
I'd start on level 1 or 2 for starters to get used to it, then after every 3-4 weeks go up another level, until you're aiming for at least level 5-6 as a target, though you could progress higher than that if you wanted.

Might I suggest swimming? Swimming is excellent for burning off some fat, it will also tone your body.

It is yes, you just need ot be careful of the body adapting too it and affecting efficacy.
There are ways to prevent this however.
1. Change the cadence and / or style of the swimming per week.

There are several cardio exercises available from walking, running, dancing, swimming, biking, aerobics and the list goes on. Every activity is beneficial to the body. Find a routine which suits your interest. You may opt to try dancing but in the process you find out that you don't have the coordination to dance. You may opt to try running if you wanted to see the environment. You may opt to try some team sports if you wanted to work with others. Finding the best cardio exercise is like a trial and error process. You can also vary the routine every now and then. Remember to combine this cardio exercise with strength training and healthy eating to effectively meet your goal.
