How to weight the food? Weight them raw or cooked?

Sorry I have a stupid question, shall I weigh the food in raw state? Thanks!

Weigh food raw, otherwise you'd be guessing sometimes at what you're having, then you might have to throw a small amout of cooked food away, which is a waste.

For myself, I weigh chicken/meat after it's cooked. I find this easier and more hygenic since you're not spreading raw meat all over. For other things though, raw is generally the way to go. I've looked up the cooked calorie values for various meats online. Chicken breast is in the upper 40's/cooked oz from what I've found so I round that one off to 50 and it's nice and easy.
