What are the best foods to eat to lose weight?

Post by troyharold »

Hello!

I've researched many times about weight loss and I've found out that being vegetarian is a good way to lose weight. I don't know if it is true. I want to know what are the best foods to eat just to reduce your weight?

Legumes, Veggies, savoury fruits, I.E. Tomatos, Cucumbers, Marrow, Aubergine, (Eggplant) and Peppers etc.

Soybeans are fine as are associated things like Tofu, Tempeh, Nattokinase, Edemame

Other fruits like Acid and Sub-acid are fine in moderation as are Sugary ones.

Nuts and Peanuts or fine when moderated to take into account the levels of healthy fat as Nuts and Peanuts can be quite caloric.

Things like Bread, Pasta, Rice, Parsnips are okay in moderation as are Whole-grains, despite all being moderate to high Glycemic, but avoid dried fruits as they're too sugary.

Liquid Carbs like Almond Milk, Rice Milk, Coconut Milk, Soy Milk and animal Milks are relatively fine. If you have a problem with the idea of animal milks, consider some or all of the previous 4 options.

Obviously be aware of some of theses things if you are intolerant to things like Wheat, Gluten, Salyc Acid, Fructose, Soy, etc.

Eat foods high in fiber: salads, leafy green vegetables, etc. Go for foods that are low in fat: no more than 20 percent of the calories per serving should come from fat. Green tea is a great fat burner and it also contains anti-oxidants that keep your body healthy. Cayenne pepper, ginger, chili powder and picante sauce not only make meals interesting without adding significant calories, but studies have shown that these spices as well as green tea have a thermogenic effect that helps burn more fat. Soup is also a great choice if you want to lose weight. The main ingredient in soup is water. Water has no calories. The calorie allotment for one meal can be stretched quite far by making soup out of it. A pile of veggies, a chicken breast combined with three or four cups of -fatted chicken broth, make a huge, satisfying, low calorie meal that takes a long time to eat.

However Green Tea contains Caffeine that can block Iron, increasing Anemia risk, Constrict Blood Vessels increasing Hypertension risk, cause Stomach Ulcers, Heartburn, Gout from the Xanthines converting to Uric Acid and reduced Erythrocyte, (Red Blood Cell), levels and constricted vessels, could increase Lactic Acid production and increase fatigue by reducing the quantity and flow of Oxygen to the muscles.

A good drink, but care must be taken in consideration in respect of the Caffeine content, as it should be considered before embarking on Green Tea consumption.

Antioxidents are in things like Veggies, Fruit, Legumes, Dairy, Whole-grains and other lesser known things like Pine Bark supplements, (Pycnogenol), obviously, but yes, Cayenne and the things you mentioned can help. I admit I'd forgotten about those and I'm not overly familiar with Picante Sauce.
