Punk, New Wave, 80's Synth, Classic Rock.
Not for training, but for chilling at home. Tapes MP3, that sort of thing.
Now Jimi Hendrix would definitely work as a workout playlist, seeing as Hendrix was the greatest guitarist who ever lived, but it might be a little distracting for me ot do things like that, so I don't.
Might end up chilling out on a Pec Deck for 20 minutes, and then take too long doing 3 sets

From Nine Inch Nails, Black Sabbath, Behemoth, Canibal Corpse, Hammerfall, Megadeth, Godsmack, Lamb of God to Led Zepllin, ZZ Top, Deep Purple, Three Days Grace etc.
I'm really open to every kinds of Rock and Metal.
For Jimi Hendrix, your right Boss man, he's the BEST guitarist ever ... Too bad that he was taking a truck of cocaïn every night ...

Didn't affect him that much, though some say his Isle Of Wight set in 1970, was less than his best, but his equipement apparently was screwing up on him a little bit, and I think it might have bene affetced by rain as well.
Anyway Coke didn't get him in the end, he died from Barbiturate intoxication.
Barbiturates, being sometimes called Sleeping Pills, owing to their similar sleep inducing properties, although they aren't quite the same thing, as Barbiturates can be overdosed on, at much lower levels that Sleeping Pills, and therefore the difference between a safe and a lethal dose, is more acute, than in the case of Sleeping Pills.
It's never been able to be established, if he knew this and OD'd deliberately, or his OD was an accident. Most say accident.
Still a damn tradgedy no matter how you look at it.

Holy smokes ... I've always tough cocaine lead him to his grave, but there you teach me something. But, what do you really think happen ? deliberatly or not?Boss Man wrote:

I used to think it deliberate, now I think accident. Possibly he took a dose of Barbiturate he didn't know could kill him, or he wasn't aware they could kill.
As they're sometimes referred to as Sleeping Pills, it may be he took it literally, and assumed he'd be okay. He was often noted for tolerating more drug consumption than most.

4 da Gym Dance music
.
The pumpin beats make me perform better.
The videos on Flaunt have some good eye candy too
Though at 42 I should be listening to sometinhg more like 80's music
Seriously though the 'advanced room' in our gym sometimes gets too testosterone charged. If you seriously want to concentrate on your own performance and ignore the struttin peacocks (aka show off's)
it helps a lot to listen to music, no matter what style it is.

Maybe good tunes, but Sean Penn sucks as a director.swanso5 wrote:i'm a big pearl jam man and eddie vedder has done the entire soundtrack for a movie called Into The Wild directewd by sean penn so i've been listening to that just about non stop for nthe last week so if you like them get onto it
"The Crossing Guard" has to be the worst movie of all times. He did a close up of a bird for like 10 mins. that had no relevence at all (not that there was any cohesivness throughout) to anything. He must have been stoned when he made that movie.
