Hi at the gym i dont real consantrate on the music that music but when metal or heavy metal comes on the tv's that kind of motavates me, but you cant beat i bit of the old clubbing anthams.
hi jjman
heavy metal is good too , although i like the version metal/techno , i used to play the scorpions ( i know u mean sipultura and noisy bands like that ) , i concentrate more when i play the scorpions oldies especially when i use heavy weights, but the dance oldies motivate me to train using high intesity training( supersets....etc)
I like trance and dance club, fav Dj's are The Warp Brothers: Phat bass is fav. song from them and also Power, I like to run and step with it. I got their music from Kaza and LimeWire.
I don't go to the gym, I have a small gym in basement but when I go on the bike I like some music with a lots of fast beat... so I tend to listen some heavy metal too, Linking Park is one of them...
Same when I walk or bike to work, I put mp3 to work...lol
I have a portable XM radio unit that can record up to 5 hours worth of music. I set it to record the Dance station because it is a fast tempo. Then I hit the treadmill or eliptical
Hello too all,This is first post on here,I found something too respond too in this music thing.
While I'm at the gym,I like too focus without ditractions. And we all know that there are alot of distractions at the gym.
So I like too zone in with ipod tunes. On the menu is offspring, motley crue,Ozzy,Zeppplin,G-n-R,early van halen, and many other hard metal tunes.I find it the best way too get into zone and stay there. cardio is much easyer this way.
When I stretch train,I listen too pink floyd and the doors and very bluesy led.
And oh yea,I am in early forties and I can hang and bang with any one in gym.Age is no cop out.
