• Cheese: Which type of cheese is good for you other than cottage cheese? What do you guys eat it with? Any recipes? When should I eat it during the day? What are the benefits of cheese?
• Oil: I know olive oil is good for you. But is it good for cooking purposes – like when you’re cooking chicken on a pan…? And what other types of oil are necessary for a healthy diet? I am new to this site can you advice me if i am eating enough calories to lose wt any advice is appreciated Thanks .
current wt is 190 pounds Goal wt is 160pounds
Maintenance calories 1,942 Goal calorie 1,442 goal wt 160 pounds
Carbohydrates 180 gr protein 108 fat 32 gr
ROUTINE
800 am Breakfast- Quakers life cinnamon cereals ¾ cup with skim milk
10 .00 Snack -apple or banana
12. 00 Lunch – red lentils ½ cup with lots of vegetables
2.00Snack-almonds 20 and egg boiled 1
6 30 pm Dinner boiled egg with ½ cup chick peas or red lentils and lots of vegetables
6 to 8 glass of water.

8am: 1/2 cup rolled oats, 3/4 cup skim milk, 3 scrambled eggs
10am: apple or banana, 20 almonds, 4 oz lean meat
12: 1 cup lentils, veggies, 1/2 avocado
2:00 looks great
6:30: 1 cup chick peas or lentils, 2 boiled eggs, veggies
8: 3/4 cup lf cottage cheese or greek yogurt, 1-2 tbs natural nut butter

yaa i am trying to be veg food for this diet plan ,thanks a lot for this advice i really appreciate.do i have to take whole egg or just white of egg.

Oily food is not a healthy food.So, healthy food contains protein,vitamin and iron.For example-
VITAMIN-milk,tomatoes,mangoes,nuts,green vegetables,meats,eggs,oats.
PROTEIN-chicken,fish,soya beans,pasta,,potatoes,orange,coconut,spinach,bananas.
IRON-red meat,dried fruit,egg yolks,pulses,cereals,chocolate,strawberries,white bread.
VITAMIN-milk,tomatoes,mangoes,nuts,green vegetables,meats,eggs,oats.
PROTEIN-chicken,fish,soya beans,pasta,,potatoes,orange,coconut,spinach,bananas.

Potatoes, oranges and bananas are not very good for protein.

I think it does not matter what type of cheese you are eating. Following are the benefits of it:
It prevents form cavity because it is high in calcium.
It helps in gaining weight as it contains a lot of natural fats.
It is a good source of protein, zinc, phosphorus, and calcium as well as vitamins A.
It is rich in vitamin B and helps in bone strengthen.
For high blood pressure patients it is also helpful.

Why? cheese can contribute to obesity if too much is eaten, as it can be quite fatty, so obese people can have high blood pressure and therefore cheese wouldn't help.JamesBrunet wrote:For high blood pressure patients it is also helpful.
