how many calories
im 6 feet and im 250lbs with 47% body fat i would like to know how many calories i should eat to lose the body fat

Aim for 6 meals a day, every 2.5-3 hours, with around 400 calories a meal on average.
I would aim for something long the lines of 30% Protein / 40% Carbs / 30% Fats per day.
Which is 720 calories Protein / 960 calories Carbs / 720 calories Fats per day.
30 grams Protein / 40 grams Carbs / 13.5g Fats per meal, the last one being approximate.
This should suffice for now.

One way is to calculate your BMR - just do a googe search for a BMR calculator - plug in the info and you got your answer on how many calories to maintain your weight. Now minus 15 to 20% of that and that is what you should take in to lose weight. Don't ever drop your calories less than 30% because you'll end up burning your muscle and not your fat.
