Will I ever have a truly trim waistline?

Hey everybody. I was wondering if there is anybody out there who has actually lost their baby gut 4 years after having a baby. I heared it's actually easier right after having a baby. I'm 40 and youngest child is 4. I'm in decent shape, as a matter of fact I consider myself pretty foxy at 40!! real issue is this gut!
In clothes, when I'm sucking it in, you would never know it's there. But I want it to look like that without sucking it in all day! But 4 yrs after giving birth+ now being officially in 40's, will I really ever be able to have a truly trim waistline? A pooch I wouldnt mind... but t his is a little more than a "pooch"! Help!

To me it's pretty bad, but I'll admit I've seen far worse. I call it a little more than a pooch with that raisin-ish wrinkley skin. skin is pretty firm- no stretch marks- no sagging skin you know, the kind you can pull out and stretch a few inches- which after 4 kids and hittin 40 in December makes me feel confident that gut (maybe I should stop refering to it as " gut"?) ok, tummy- still has hope for a Rocky Balboa type ccome back. I just need advice on what's the best way to tone that area before it actually IS too late.

lord...You know its really not necessary to go into graphic details about skin textures.Obviously skye1 you didn't leave forums, otherwise we wouldn't be reading you.Yes you can have a trim waistline in your forties, though it comes with a lot of dedication to consistent workouts & attention to healthy eating.

I thought that these forums would be different from others in that we're all here to get healthy, shed some ponds and be supportive of others, not judgmental... removing rose colored shades in 3, 2, 1......

i am so worried about slimline , i do a lot of ground exercises and yoga but it just doesn't help . I'm going vegan just to see if it really does work .

After 4 kids and all you have is a little pooch your doing pretty good. That being said if you keep after it i'm sure you
will get rid of it. There are a lot of abdominal exercises you could try. I don't know if those ab belts work but you
might want to take a look. I think one is called contour and one is called flex. Good luck
