Wanting to rid Fat

Post by ruthmae_65 »

I now stand 5'7 and weigh 298 pounds. I have weighed 150 pounds and was fine with the weight. Which is where I'd like to return. I now wear a size 18 in women pant and would like to learn of an exercise to incorporate with diet to get rid of the fat. Is it possible to ever have flat abs again?

Well the idea that you can target fat or a specific area of fat is something that, I have read from many sources over many years, the human body won't let you do. You can how ever lose fat through out the body and it will deduct from you as well. So, as far as exercises you can do, cardio to burn calories and create a calorie deficit in your body which is a popular choice among people who want to lose weight. Things like walking, biking, jogging and swimming. The thing about cardio is that your metabolism returns to normal shortly after you are done doing the workout. You can also incorporate some weight training into your workout which may not burn as many calories during the workout but on the other hand it will burn calories for longer since your metabolism will be increased for a longer duration.
