The green drink for breakfast

Post by musculArgirl2 »

From dr oz's website:

This "green drink" is high in fiber, low-calorie and rich in vitamins.

Ingredients
2 cups spinach
2 cups cucumber
1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
1 bunch parsley
2 apples
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender. This makes approximately 28-30 ounces, or 3-4 servings.

I'm going to try this i think in magic bullet. :)

Low calories is not necessaarily the way though. Skimping on calories will cause starvation mode making you hold onto Fat. If that shake was 250+ calories, then yes, but certainly anything lower than 200 I'd say no, as it might just cause that starvation mode for around 2-3 hours before the next meal and also might leave you feeling a bit hungry later on, not least as it's low Protein, so it won't necessarily be very filling.

Most of those ingredients have little to no Protein.
