Where do I start?
I am almost 30, I used to work out and play basketball for quite from 2005-2009. i never dieted, i was always lean, had a 6 pack (a little crooked but definitely there). I ate pretty much everything I could get hands on, drink frappuccinos, eat cake, donuts, lots of toast with nutela, basically everything i felt like, and i never even got a because I just played so much basketball.
Christmast 2009 i stopped all workout due to having to move because of work and then having to actually work almost all day and night. leaving basketball team, and gym membership behind, i just slouched off until i gave up the job because i wasn't happy there and moved back. naturally i wanted to pick up playing ball again and hitting the gym, now I haven't gotten really fat or anything, but...
1. i've got a little tummy that shows when sitting and even shows while standing after i've eaten.
2. i've got love handles, not sure when these popped up but damn I really can't get rid of them.
3. i've gotten some serious mantits.
I think the mantits are from actually having a broad and well build chest from pushing too much on the bench, and of course then slacking off for 2 years.
i'm getting back into basketball, and started playing 1-2x a week, which has already helped me lose 2kgs. i was around 81 when I left, 89 when I came back, and now I'm down to 87, still with the , the love handles and the tummy.
i have started working out a little at home again, training biceps and triceps with free weights, I haven't started anything else because I am scared these man will get even bigger.
here is dilemma:
HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE MANTITS?
will just playing basektball help me get rid of these man or is it better to add some pushups and general chest workout to routine?
I am really scared that a chest workout will just broaden chest even further, and even though it might gain some definition it will also still gain in mass if I work on it.
thanks a lot for reading, I hope you guys can help me.

First of all friend, 80% of what is going to get rid of those MT's is your food intake regimen. They are excess body fat basically, and in order to get rid of them you're going to need to reduce your overall percentage. Whenever you're setting out to change body composition, first tackle the food aspect. Here's a video I made like a year ago that has a workout specially tailored for Man Boobs! Enjoy, and please contact me if you need any other exercise suggestions, tips, or even food intake regimen advice.

Awwwww I'm sorry. I know a lot of people go back and forth about if it's easier to be overweight as a man or a woman and I know the one OKAY thing about being an overweight woman is that our boobs growing is not a problem, it's a plus. I was sad when I got to target weight of 120 lbs and boobs had gone down a cup size!
That being said, James is right. You need to change your diet in order to sucesfully lose fat in your target areas (chest).
Make sure that you're getting enough sleep, drinking enough (LOTS) of water, and minimzing stress. Find a workout that you enjoy that gets your blood flowing and stick to it. Combine that workout (for you, it appears to be basketball) with some weight training (again, find the right plan for you) to see the best results, then change your diet. Low caloric intake maybe, or possibly less carbs... once again find the right diet for you but you can not eat whatever you want. Sadly, you have to face the music that you are no longer a 22 year old with an amazing matabolism. You have the matabolism of an adult and you have to treat it as such.
If you need someone to talk to about your weight loss journey, feel free to email me at [email protected]. I also send out a weekly newsletter with a bunch of nice fitness tips and tricks as well as deals and discounts on some fitness stuff that I get as a fitness instructor and extend to the masses.
I wish you the best of luck and hope you see great success with your fitness endeavors!

Where your body deposits fat is decided by your genetics. So if you gain weight you can't control how or where it deposits for this reason you need to have a full body solution. This means full body resistance training and cardio, ideally shorter high intensity training (think sprinting). The next thing to consider is your diet, without a healthy one it will just get worse. The easiest is simply cut your calories back by 10 percent. Keep a food journal daily, allow one free meal a week. Lastly, if you are using recreational drugs and some prescription ones as well, such as marijuana, they can increase estrogen levels which result in as you called it mantits. High levels of soy may also contribute so keep soy protein to under 30 grams a day.
Best,
Best,

Cardio will burn the fat, but you need to firm the area with resistance training.
