I have a little quandry that maybe somebody can help with
I like to have an animal protein with evening meal BUT
I am allergic to seafood and I have high cholesterol and triglycerides nd have gout which limits red meat
I am on a pretty lean budget which leaves pork and chicken now as you can imagine after 2 weeks 3 pork 3 chicken and a steak gets pretty damn boring so does anyone out there have an alternate protein source that I can get 50g of protein from in one hit that isn't any of these 4 proteins?

How about Soy and associated products like Miso, Tofu, Edemame and Nattokinase?
You can also get a lot of good protein from legumes including peanuts, dairy, mushrooms, eggs and flaxseed.

You can also try turkey. I have low fat ground turkey burger twice a week. You can put it in a soup, make a hamburger, eat the patties as a side dish, make turkey chili etc.

Honestly I really don't like turkey meat at all even at Thanksgiving lol
So I settled on
1 red meat
2 vegetarian with lots of mushrooms
2 chicken incl a chicken kebob
2 pork
Thanks again everyone for their advice

Have you tried hemp? Haha, and no I don't mean the kind you smoke. Hemp protein powder is popular with vegans. I was reading a study that too much protein from animal sources can lead to heart disease.
If you can't handle meat at every meal, try black beans or lentils that are high in protein. I also have raw unsalted nuts or greek yogurt. And make sure you aren't just eating protein or dairy by itself; have some fruit or whole grains with it to help digestion. You may also want to add in some probiotics.

Hemp has the second highest concentration of protein behind Soybeans. Soybeans have 33%, hemp 25% percent and I think from memory, next on the list is beef and eggs at around 18%.
Hemp oil is quite good for healthy fats so I believe. There is a site called HempOilCan based in canada that does it, along with hemp protein powder and other things like hemp shampoo.
Incidentally hemp has something like one one thousandth, or one ten thousandth of the THC content of cannabis, so it cannot get you stoned.
I can't remember the exact ratio, but I did discover that some years ago on the HOC site mentioned above.

Tofu is a great protein source! It's main source of protein since I stopped eating red meat last year.
I also rely heavily on legumes. They're great in stews and soups and surprisingly, in salad!
