Re: Question about carbs, fats and protein.
Hi Hope, good to talk to you.
I'd need to know a few answers first of all.
Firstly, what are your goals?
Secondly, what is your current calorie intake?
There may be some additional questions based on what answers you give, so don't worry, this is just designed to hopefully help you.

Re: Question about carbs, fats and protein.
Sorry, I should have been more clear, I meant physical goals, the reason(s), why you are trying to eat like you are doing.
Re: Question about carbs, fats and protein.
I'd aim more for around 2000 calories a day and I think you could go for a 30/40/30 ration of protein, carbs and fat.
So that would be 600 calories, (150g), protein, 800 calories, (200g carbs) and 600 calories, (66g fat).
So if you split that up into 6 regular meals, you get 100 calories, (25g protein), 133 calories, (33g carbs) and 100 calories, (11g fat), per meal.
These are not hard and fast ratios so don't get too about it, as it's not precision that matters, just that you're trying to get close to those specifications.

Re: Question about carbs, fats and protein.
You are factoring in exercise though, so you need to provide yourself with more energy / calories to burn.
1,800 calories a day is what sedentary adult females need, so 1,400 is too low anyway.
