Hello guys!
I have a question and I hope to find some experienced people here to help me!
I am a 21 yo girl, 5'3'' and currently 120lbs.
I am a rhythmic gymnast and have many "tailored" leotards! I also started with crossfit 3 times a week some months ago.
2 months ago I had an operation. After that, I was just allowed to eat white brad, white noodles etc, everything that is digested easily.
As I am a "everything or nothing" person, I just ate everything I was allowed to when I was hungry. I started working out a little again after 2 weeks post op, but continued eating whatever (mostly noodles, muesli, cereals, normal bread with cheese and also chocolate and crisps). I gained 8lbs and now all the costumes don't fit anymore, because they have always been super tight!
I have never every tried to loose weight, because I actually have always been around 108-110lbs and I really liked it. diet looked pretty much same as I want it to look now again, but now I want to "plan" it more, because I really wanna loose and then maintain weight!
So what I want to do now is loose around 8lbs, then keep this weight and gain muscle (strength) with training.
I can't eat raw fruit or veggies, because they give me gastritis!
I would love if you could check plan. I am doing rhythmic gymnastics 2 times a week for 2 hours and crossfit 3 times for 1 hours.
Here's plan to loose 8lbs:
10:30am Breakfast:1 caffe latte, 2 slices of protein bread, ham, cheese, low fat spread, 1 egg, 1 banana
or 1 caffe latte, 2-3 scrambled egg, 1 slice of protein bread, 1 banana or 100gr of oat meal, a little bit of milk, 1 banana
15:00pm Lunch (pre workout):
1 banana, 1 piece of fruit, 1 ice-cream
19:00 Snack (post workout):
250gr of low fat curd cheese, 2 tbs of strawberry yoghurt, 50gr of oatmeal mixed together
20:00pm Dinner:
200 gr of meat (chicken, pork, beef), 200gr of cooked brown rice/quinoa/potatoes, 150 gr of frozen veggies
After I lost 8 lbs, I would eat the same like I listed above, I will just allow myself 2 more snacks for both together about 400kcal, for example a chocolate pudding, another banana, a smoothie, ice cream, 30gr of nuts,...
I have no problem with eating nearly the same everyday, I have always liked eating pretty much the same!
I just can't live without any carbs!
So what do you think, will this plan give me all the energy, nurtients amd vitamins I need? Will I loose some pounds and then keep it, but still have all the nurtients to gain strength in crossfit?
I would appreciate any opinion!

Hi Kat, good to talk to you.
I'd actually call you a 21 year old "young Lady" rather than girl, if that makes you feel any better
.
I will first of all ask a few questions, but feel free not to answer anything you might find a little intrusive, I will completely understand, as I'm just here to help for your benefit, not to make you feel negative or uncomfortable, so please don't worry about anything I ask
.
I want to firstly ask if I may, what kind of operation was it and what caused it to be a necessity?
When you say raw fruits and veggies cause inflammation of the stomach and digestive tract, is that a salic acid problem, or something else?
Is it related to the bodies inability to produce certain enzymes?
Could you eat some those things when cooked and / or if you took a digestive enzyme supplement?
I will address some of the other stuff in due course, whether you choose to answer any of the questions or not, so don't worry about that, I'm not avoiding anything else you asked about or wanted quantifying, but I do want to tell you how proud I am of you, for not letting the problems you've been through put you off and for being able to talk about them, as it does you a lot of credit and you should be proud of choosing to care for yourself, as it shows me you're a young Lady with a good heart and some emotional beauty and we will try to help however we feel is best, as I can appreciate it can't have been easy going through what you've been through, but you can still have a great future and I hope we as a community can play just a small worthwhile part in that

Good luck with your weight loss plan. You are in good hands here

Re: please check diet
I think your dinner time is too late. I try not to eat anything after 6:30 and when I have kept that discipline it has worked great.
Re: please check diet
I'd politely disagree with that. Whilst your philosophy has worked for you which is great, I feel someone eating at 8:00PM is not a serious problem.
The main things to consider is how many calories have been consumed and close to bedtime are they consumed. I:E eating a Big Mac and fries 30 minutes before bed, or eating a yoghurt and a packet of low salt peanuts 2 hours before bed.
Also the protein content of the persons meal could also preserve muscle mass which is good for the metabolism, especially if the person had consumed anything dairy based, as casein is slow digesting, so that would promote even more anti catabolic activity, than other protein sources with half the digestion time
