I had always thought that weight loss pills were just scams and they didn't work. However, recently I was having a hard time sticking to diet. I got anxious to the point that I could not resist. stomach was growling and if I didn't get a snack I would go crazy! The thing is it wasn't hunger. I know body and it was like some sort of sweet cravings or something...
The thing is I decided to take a weight loss supplement. To make the long story short I decided to take garcinia cambogia extract (GCE). I found one with good customer reviews on Amazon Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Bioganix-Garcinia ... 00GAXIX0U/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; To be honest I was not expecting anything to happen because, as I said before, I had always thought this was all a scam. But I was curious to know if it would actually reduce appetite. I really just wanted it to stop anxiety...
It helped me a lot I must say. It really does reduce appetite and late night snacking is gone so far. It's been only 2 weeks so I cannot tell for sure how good this is. But so far it's working for me. It says it helps burn fat but I'm not so sure it's helped me burn fat. I guess I'll have to measure fat % soon to see how that one goes.
Are any of you taking a supplement like this? How has it worked for you?

Check out the rhetoric I posted recently on that. If you use the search facility and search out Garcinia Cambogia, you'll see blunt yet honest testimony about what I read.
The problem with may weight loss products is they are tested in poor experiments and tests. XLS medical has their results on the page and it's full of rubbish about being tested on 10 people who were not overweight and placebo trials based on weight loss diets eaten for just 3 days and test done in Germany on caucasians, of no stated background or amount.
The other problem is, most people never isolate the effects of something. Most people take the product and then do something else like adjust eating, exercise or both, so they have no way to prove what the product is doing, then they just convince themselves the product works, because admitting they may have waste money on a dud product hurts and hiding from the truth is more convenient.

I totally understand your point, Boss Man. However, the results I am experiencing seem to be from taking this supplement. I am not doing anything different from what I was doing before starting to take it. I agree with you that sometimes they build too much hype around this kind of products. But it seems to help me with the problem I was having so I'm happy with that.

Re: This is helping me keep diet straight
Fair enough. If you're certain you can think of nothing else you have done since taking this stuff, that would cast aspersions on what it might be doing, then fair enough
.
