Too few calories?

Post by elizma515 »

I am a 32 year female. I'm 5'5" & weigh 133 lbs and just want to lose 3-5 more but I seem to be stuck. I am very active. I do 45 mins of circuit boxing twice a week, run 2-4 times a week (2-3 miles) and work 2 jobs where I'm on feet, walking across the store for 15 hrs each day. On average caloric intake is around 1372......could this be too little and be the reason I've hit this wall in weight loss?

hello!

You are very active and you eat very little. Can you share what you eat on a daily basis and when you eat?

I agree with the above comments. Your meal times and what eat at those times would be beneficial as your calories are too low in relation to your activity levels.

6 am 1 whole egg 5 whites
2 pieces of turkey bacon
And either toast and fruit or oatmeal
Coffee

930 apple and granola

12 varies. Usually 3-4 Oz of chicken, extra lean pork or tuna
Either green beans or brocoli
1/2 cup greek yogurt

4:00 Fiber one bar

6:00 Spinach leaves topped with tuna
Fruit or yogurt

8:00. 100 calorie popcorn.

this is a typical day for me. Sometime the 930 snack I miss

I always seem to have these urges to snack about mid day.....on whatever I can.....I feel like it's because I'm lacking in calories. I don't want to increase and gain so I thought I'd do it slowly. 1500-1800 a day. More on workout days.

9:30 meal - Apple & Granola have lots of sugar can carbs. Maybe eat one and add some kind of high protein…. Turkey deli, cottage cheese, string cheese, grilled chicken strips, hard boiled eggs or nuts (with some good fat) …

8:00. 100 calorie popcorn. – I like to drink protein shake… it helps with cravings and get extra protein instead of grains.

I used to make own protein bars because some bars have way too much sugar and very little protein added in. But I found Quest bar to be very awesome and convenient protein bars. I personally like it better than Fiber one bar. It’s just a suggestion if you want to look in to it. :D
